The Black Series has gone deluxe! Larger scale figures and accessories are coming, kicking off with Wave 1’s Biker Scout and Jabba The Hutt (non SDCC version). The Biker Scout is a standard Black Series 6 inch scale figure and comes packaged with an in-scale Speeder Bike as seen in Return of the Jedi. A stand comes-with, so you can pose the figure on-bike for some dynamic shots. We’ve shot it up and done up some thoughts, check out over 35 shots courtesy of site sponsor Entertainment Earth!

Black Series Deluxe Wave 1 Biker Scout
Pros
Accurate representation of the Scout and Speeder
Stand allows for tight sturdy poses
Leg articulation adjusted so it can work on the bike
Sculpting, weathering and colors on the bike pop
Cons
Muddy paint apps on feet a bit too much
Overall
Overall – I dig it. I had the original back when I was a kid, and loved the break apart feature. Would just press that button and explode it over and over. This doesn’t have that, but it can be broken apart. Oddly, that was the first thing I checked for. The Scout is on par with Black Series 6 Inch releases so far, and fits in well with the other Troopers. The stand is appreciated, can angle-pose it and tuck it behind the rest on a shelf and still see it. Paint and sculpt on the bike is good, lots of fine details down to the rotating gun underneath. The only thing that is a negative is the price, coming in at 40 bucks USD. I think it’s worth it, you get a well crafted intricate additional piece along side a 20 dollar figure. But when you stop rationalizing it, you still dropped 40 bucks. Doing that repeatedly can get costly, so I hope Hasbro chooses wisely for these new Deluxe sets as the line continues. Check out some key shots below, and over 30 more in slideshow format after that!

Prequel Squad
Gangsta
To be continued...
The Clone Trooper isn't quite as good as the Stormtrooper. However, it still looks like a really solid figure. I'd like to see a version with a bit of weathering. The Anakin looks ok I guess.
anakin has a weird face, but i think the outfit molding and painting is quite good, i believe the reason the clone doesnt look as awesome is because he isnt as "shiny" as the ones in the movies.
I agree, Anakin's expression is a little odd. But honestly, I'd prefer this over some snarling visage.
I told myself when this line started that I would only buy OT figures in the 6"-scale and nothing else. But that pic of Anakin and Obi Wan getting ready to throw down makes it really hard to hold true to that rule.
The Clone trooper, OTOH, is an easy pass. I was never really into that design beyond it being a prototype for the classic Stormtrooper version.
And, Jabba up:

The glued down bubble sucks ass. Kills the entire point.
Agreed. If I pick it up, I will probably leave it all intact and in the box. Just remove Jabba and Crumb for some display pics, then back in the box.
The one problem I can foresee with this box set is that, at some point, you're likely going to see a store exclusive that will throw Jabba, Leia, and Boba Fett into a set with a similar diorama display. Maybe not soon, but it wouldn't surprise me to see something like that within a year.
I'd buy one, I have sucker, re-sucker written all over me.
I'm more into the ancillaries, want crumb! need crumb!, exclusive crumb! supercrap.
I agree that Anakin has a different facial expression. Jabba is not that impressive.
Heads up everybody! This may be old new, but it was new to me; I saw SW TBS 6" figures at Walmart this morning. I guess they FINALLY decided to carry them.

Pay me...
After the SDCC version, the retail Jabba just seems like an incomplete waste.
also he seems undersized.
I got the regular Jabba and took it back when I got a deal on the SDCC version. Way better. Just not sure if I want to take him out of the box and display with Slave Leia and Boba. My Boba and Carbonite Han however, will stay in their package on display.
After seeing it in person and these pics, I'm not sure I even want the retail version of Jabba.
Is there any actual difference in the Jabba figures itself? (Besides lacking the accessories) Someone mentioned to me the saliva detail was better on the SDCC exclusive.
