So I spotted this at a Toys “R” Us yesterday. They had just finished restocking the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Retro Figures. These are the reissues of the 80’s toys, which Playmates released last year, and had disappeared from shelves (for the most part) since Christmas.
After spotting this, I popped over to another nearby TRU and saw they had them as well. The assortment, though, appears to be a bit different. Both stores were only stocking the four Ninja Turtles. Missing in the wave were Shredder and Splinter, which were part of the release last year. UPDATE: According to foru member Phantomcrow, Krang and a Foot Soldier are part of this release. These were marked at $8.99 each.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Retro Figures Restocked at Toys R Us

This is what, the fourth time they've re-released these figures over the years? I'm a fan as much as the next person, and love seeing figures from my childhood sitting on the shelves, but I'd much rather have them put more effort in the Classics line than repackaging these guys.
Little late on this one guys. I posted pics a week back. Shredder and Splinter are not missing they have been replaced with Krang and Foot Soldier. Check the "Passed Up" thread for a pic. They are short packed so I am sure they were the first to go.
Thanks.
I saw these on the pegs a week and a half ago as well. There was a Foot Soldier. My first troop-builder. I had 2.
A friend of mine at TRU held onto the box for me about a month ago. The Foot Soldiers seem to be painted slightly different. I picked up Kraang but then decided to return him to the store because I really don't care about these re-issues. Maybe when they re-issue Bebop and Rocksteady, but probably not even then. I'm with whoever wished they would spend more time on the classics line. Still, pretty cool to see these childhood toys of mine back in the saddle!
Thanks.
