Toys R Us SDCC 2014 Exclusives – Full List

Posted on July 17, 2014 at 8:39 pm by Tony_Bacala under San Diego Comic Con

TRU has released their full SDCC 2014 line up. Included are exclusives and “First Looks” of product that aren’t out yet, but will be later this year. Key items include the TMNT Classics Movie versions, G.I. Joe Danger at the Docks 2 pack, Transformers Masterpiece Prowl and Sunstorm – but there a lot more. Those not attending the show will have a shot at the limited edition items on ToysRUs.com starting Thursday July 24th! Check out all the details after the break!

Building on its tradition of offering an unbeatable assortment of toys for collectors of all ages, Toys“R”Us has revealed its full lineup of exclusive items available at the highly anticipated Comic-Con International in San Diego taking place Thursday, July 24 through Sunday, July 27. Conventioneers will find must-have merchandise based on fan-favorite series, including My Little Pony, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, TRANSFORMERS and more at the Entertainment Earth booth (#2343).

Toys“R”Us will also provide convention goers the opportunity to be among the first to purchase exclusive merchandise not yet available in stores, such as MINECRAFT Creeper Anatomy, MY LITTLE PONY EQUESTRIA GIRLS ZECORA and TRANSFORMERS Masterpiece Prowl, among others. These first look items will become available in Toys“R”Us stores nationwide later this year.

Fans unable to journey to San Diego this year will also have the opportunity to purchase select items online at Toysrus.com/ComicConvention beginning at 10am EST on Thursday, July 24. All merchandise is available while supplies last, so fans should visit Entertainment Earth at booth #2343 or Toysrus.com/ComicConvention early to make purchases.

Toys“R”Us Exclusives Available Only at San Diego Comic-Con Include:

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back 2-Pack from Minimates

POWER RANGERS Mighty Morphin’ Legacy Lord Zedd from Bandai™

Highly detailed to include show-accurate styling, Lord Zedd comes with multiple points of articulation and muscular, heroic design, and is perfect for play or to put on display. Complete collectable legacy packaging styled after the original Mighty Morphin’ figures released by Bandai America in 1993. This figure is available to Power Rangers collectors and kids for $20.

Star Wars™ Black Series Cantina Showdown from Hasbro®
Recreate the biggest Star Wars™ battles with figures from The Black Series. Han Solo and Greedo face off in the Mos Eisley Cantina. Han has been dodging the bounty hunter for a long time, but at last Greedo has tracked him down. This set includes two highly articulated 6-inch figures that are part of the ultimate Star Wars collection. Both figures have holsters and blasters, and the Han Solo figure has an extra set of hands. Star Wars fans can add this to their collection for $40.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles® Classic Figure Collection from Playmates
Available for the first time, these classic figures are based off the original Turtles character costumes created by Jim Henson Productions for the classic 1990?s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles® movie. With 34 points of articulation, signature weapons and a personalized sewer lid name plate, they are a perfect re-creation of the old school Turtles that busted onto the movie screen and changed the Turtles world in a big way. Fans can take home these fun-loving and pizza-eating teen Turtles for $20 each.

TRANSFORMERS Masterpiece Prowl from Hasbro®
Prowl is a clear thinker who is able to see beyond the chaos of battle and discover the rational route to victory. His logic center is the most sophisticated in the Autobot army, capable of analyzing complex combat situations and making strategic decisions almost instantaneously. Unexpected events have been known to briefly scramble his circuits, but there isn’t much this Autobot doesn’t see coming. As much as his fellow Autobots would like to see Prowl loosen up and crack a joke once in a while, they recognize that what makes him so brilliant on the battlefield is what makes him so disciplined off it. Conventioneers can take home this sneak peak item for $70.

TRANSFORMERS Masterpiece Sunstorm from Hasbro®
Fly too close to the sun and get burned. Get too close to Sunstorm, and get dissolved into a puddle of liquid scrap. Autobots beware, because this ultimate Decepticon flier is on the hunt for someone to fight. He converts from robot mode to fighter jet mode, and in either mode he’s armed for major combat. His canopy and nose cone open in jet mode, and his hidden missile pods deploy when he gets an Autobot in his sights. And, don’t forget to set him on his stand when the fight is over for the day. Fans can get this high-flying Decepticon with incredible battle features for $80.

All Toys“R”Us exclusive items are limited editions and will be available on a first-come, first served basis, while supplies last.

The Joe set seems pretty cool, but it just doesn't feel like a SDCC exclusive to me. I don't know why, either. Maybe because it's not tied to Transformers in some way.

I wonder if TRU will be able to sell them in their stores after the Con like Hasbro typically does with their SDCC stuff.

I think all the sdcc tru exclusives end up in store, but usually not in much quantity. The Joe set is the exact as the new set coming this fall for the anniversary line, just in different colors.

This year has been the weakest set of exclusives for SDCC in a while. Everything from the the major companies such as Hasbro and Mattel has been an easy pass for me, and as someone said earlier, the exclusives coming out don't seem to have that exclusive appeal or wow factor that's gonna make me break out my wallet this year. Even NECA's offerings, who has killed it the last few years at SDCC feel weak. There's always next year I suppose.

I also wish that Hasbro would just retire the Vamp molds already. How many different versions of this same vehicle are they going to give us? With a vehicle history as rich as G.I.Joe's, with so many more that have not been done...why do they continue to give us even more jeeps? Where's the MOBAT, F.A.N.G., Mauler, Ferret, Stun, Triple T, Sea Ray or Maggot? Hell...I'd kill for a re-issue of some of the wackier vehicles like the Buzz Boar, Pogo, BUGG, or General at this point...

That might explain why I don't get a "SDCC" feel from it. Or it could be Trivial's point about the deluge of Vamp redecos.

The VAMP mk2 has been a long time coming. Besides that VAMP is just an awesome bonus accessory to what people really want from that set- the new sculpt classic Flint and Night Landing.

They re-released the MOBAT and FANG a few years ago in the 25th line. The Triple T is probably the wackiest (meaning worst) vehicle you named, TP. I thirdly testify to the POGO's greatness.

I thought I remembered seeing the MOBAT and FANG again, but I wasn't sure. Didn't they reissue the Ferret as well?

They reissued the Ferret in Brown with the first Joe movie with some add on front end and spring loaded cannon(called Snake Trax), and then the Green Jungle version (called Tiger Claw) that barely made it to shelves outside of some Ross type stores. They have never reissued the classic Blue and Red Cobra Ferret.

The MOBAT was released in the Target exclusive Ultimate Battle Pack with the RED HISS tank and Blue Trouble Bubble.

Fang chopper was released in a two pack with the CLAW glider.

It's nice to know that some people out there feel the same way as I do with the vehicle releases. Hail the Cobra POGO, the most dangerous and impractical vehicle to ever grace the battlefield.

I realize that several of the vehicles I mentioned were re released at some point, but like Phantom said, many were released somewhat under the radar with the movie line, or as limited exclusives at different stores, and were often hard to come by. The variety of vehicles that have been released the last five years has been disappointing. How many versions of the vamp, fangboat, skystriker, and hiss tank can one have? Why can't we have the Imp, Hammerhead, or Condor Z25? Or even better, the Flagg, Terrordrome, or Joe headquarters? I'd buy those in a heartbeat, knowing that I would no longer have to search ebay or garage sales in hopes of finding one with all the parts and pieces intact!

The Triple T is indeed a wacky vehicle, and that's precisely why it's needed. My modern Sgt Slaughter figure has been without one for far too long!

I'm really looking forward to getting Prowl, since it will save me a bit of money not importing the TT version.

My new hope is that Hasbro uses the all-silver version for their MP Streak instead of the 'toon-accurate one. I'd love to have a toy-accurate one to go with my TT release.

Actually may cost the same, depending on where you got the Tak Prowl from. But yeah can't wait to get him and Sunstorm to my collection So that means both of the TRU MP's will be up after the con? Cool. Usually it's later when they post them.
