Star Wars Rebels and Rebels Saga Legends 3.75-Inch Photos
Definitely for kids. But honestly I am not sure why we would have adult toys for something like this. As long as the premium Star Wars line is able to exist I really don't mind watching these things come and go on clearance.
I am sure I share the same sentiment.. After purchasing Star Wars figures for almost 20 years now, you come to realize that there will always be lesser items being sold along side the "good stuff". This is no different Hasbro is just spinning it a different way.
I would love to see one person who still proudly displays their clone wars toy collection. We all bought that line and its sitting in tupperware or its been sold, at least with Rebels you can just pass on the quality of the figure instead of having to buy another Star Wars character you really don't want to display or celebrate.
But maybe I am on the wrong. I tend to display OTC related figures because those characters actually have merit to me instead of sith muppet #45 or decorated biped trashcan #450.
notice the proudly displayed DISNEY logo...they didn't waste time scrapping the saga line to rebrand it as Disney Saga...wonder what pricepoint change that will create
i LOVE the clone wars line.. besides the black series, it's by far one of the best star wars lines, in my opinion.
they just look great, i love the style, and the articulation was fantastic, while it lasted.
so.. it's a shame that there's really nothing rebels related for collectors. this isn't nostalgic for anyone.. this is just REALLY CHEAP and lazy.
i mean, look at transformers.. whenever there's a new tv show, there are toys produced for it in a main line that appeals to everyone. because they look like the characters and articulation usually isn't sacrificed because of it.
this is just awful.
as for the premium 6 inch line.. i'd hardly say that that is doing well in regular stores.. stores don't seem to be ordering enough, and it looks like hasbro has totally misjudged the case assortments.
Do these poorly articulated toys even sell? Whenever I go to a Toys R Us or any store for that matter I always see the Saga figures collecting dust on the racks.
they sale..yeah I know go figure...but when you can get the 2pk at target and walmart for 5-10 bucks..it becomes an army builders wet dream. I passed due to the lack or articulation but if I was building clone troops or a death squad then articulation doesn't matter that much..combined with the low pricepoint and these are the way to go. Reemmebr TRu has that ridiculous price markup..thats why they sitting on the shelf there
I haven't bought a figure in this scale for sometime and haven't picked up any of the 5 POA figures. This might be my chance to try them out. I just hope the show is as good as Clone Wars.
A LONG TIME AGO IN A GALAXY NOT SO FAR AWAY....
...I used to care about Star Wars.
Well, I can't say about others but I go for attractive ones and not the brand names which is flashing. No matter is it Saga or any other, if it impresses me I will get them like the Luke Skywalker ROTJ 2 is quite cute. Looking at having it to my collection.
jedi luke and snowtrooper looks great.
