Takara Tomy Star Wars at Tokyo Toy Show - The Toyark - News
Very happy to let you guys know that the Movie Realization line is basically the S.I.C. line, just for film. That Samurai Darth Vader will be fully poseable! You can even see the joints in his elbows! Whoo-hoo!
I was hoping for Takara SW Black Series figures.
I completely forgot about the Figuarts Turtles. I need those now.
And figuarts Star Wars? Crazy. Black Series has some competition.
Revoltech TMNT at Tokyo Toy Show 2014 - The Toyark - News
Updated with more pics.
Figuarts Turtles? I thought the turtles are Revoltech, are there some Figuarts turtles coming out?
How about those SH Figuarts Starwars Figures, Now im in a pickle, to buy the Figuarts, MAFEX or SW Black version of Vader. Seems like everyone is doing 6¨Star Wars now, nice.

Any idea how tall the revoltech turtles are?
Revoltech figures have doubled in price over the last 10 years. Wtf is going on? I've never seen such horrible price inflation from any brand.
YES YOU HAVE! Marvel Legends! $20 for a Marvel Legend figure is totally unacceptable. Unfortunately idiots are paying it. Just gotta have that new Spider-Man or Captain America figure that looks identical to the 30 you already have on your shelf collecting dust.
Inflation or gouging? I don't really see anything but toys going up in price. Gas, groceries, cat food, deodorant, toothpaste, mouthwash, you name it & it hasn't gone up in years. I've seen a lot of stuff go down in price. But not toys.
Look at the new deluxe Transformers at Walmart. They started at $14.99 & a lot of suckers were stupid enough to pay that price. Now they've rolled back the price & I got all my Dinobots for $9.98 each. They never needed to be $14.99 in the first place. It's called gouging, not inflation.

Deluxe Transformers toys have remained between $12 and $15 in my area for about 10 years. So yeah, the stuff you're seeing is not at all consistent with what's been happening in my corner of Texas.
I remember around 2005 when Revoltechs were $20 each before shipping. Now they're almost $50. That is fucking ridiculous.

I hate Revoltech, but what turtles are they doing? Are they doing the original comic ones? And if so, are they actually going to do the other characters like Shredder?
Try living in Australia where the price of any Hasbro figure is at least 150% on the US RRP. $25 for a Marvel UNIVERSE figure. Wonderful.
Anyway, off topic.
The SH Figuarts Star Wars line could be pretty amazing, the problem is the scale. They don't fit in with any other Star Wars line, so it's either get more and more of the same few characters in a different scale, or commit to only SH Figuarts and HOPE they release more over time.
Hot Toys at Tokyo Toy Show 2014 - The Toyark - News
look at the play arts kai line they quadruple the price
of their figures and its still increasing today "EVERY NEW RELEASE"
adds a 500 yen to the figures
i wished they would just stop at $50-60. now they're over $100
I want a S.H. Figuarts General Griveous. If they keep the S.H. Figuarts Star Wars line going for a while and the figures are good, I might get into them, but they are usually so expensive.
