Boss Fight Studio has sent along their latest newsletter. With the Kickstarter surpassing $90,000 (and over $98,000 right now), the first stretch goal has been hit. This has unlocked the Pre Curse Medusa. They’re sure to hit the next goal of $105,000, which will unlock the Wave 2 figures; Athenian Warrior and a new Green Snake Gorgon.
Also in the newsletter were new images of their Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. Coral Snake Gorgon. Here’s more info on the figure from Boss Fight Studio:
As the Kickstarter progresses, we’ll be highlighting various figures and other rewards available to you. Our first featured figure is the Coral Snake Gorgon. These ferocious serpentine soldiers were once human, but were turned into monstrous warriors when they were bitten by Medusa’s sister Stheno. Their former lives forgotten, they now serve as the loyal minions of Stheno and her sisters. Some of the strongest Gorgons prove their might by battling enormous serpents and wearing their bones as armor. Between their formidable combat skills and their deadly poisonous bite, the Coral Snake Gorgons are more than a match for any warrior foolish enough to challenge them.
The Coral Snake Gorgon is available in many reward tiers, starting at just $30. For $60, you can get the Coral Snake Gorgon and the Spartan. The entire first wave of four figures is $115, which is the minimum support level for purchasing add-on product. If you’re looking for an army of Gorgons to take on your Spartans, $175 will get you ten Coral Snake Gorgons to command. For the very best value, you’ll want $500 “All-In” incentive, which gives you all of the figures available through the Kickstarter, all of the figures unlocked on our stretch goals, and a few extra goodies.
Also, forum member redfox has let us know they have revealed early designs for their Series 3 Robot. Read on to check out all of the images.
Boss Fight Studio at NJCC 2014 - Original Figures Incoming! - The Toyark - News

Bring it!
The sculpt on the figure looks great in person. They were really excited for it. I was talking to them a bit and, like a lot of fans, they're tired of the 5 points of articulation stuff too. They hinted at some cool stuff being done down the road, and not just the spartan figures, but a wide range of themes. Really looking forward to seeing what they have planned.
clearly these fellows(and maybe ladies, I'm not a prick) have a vision. and...
AND....yes, please, I'm in. when they figure out the kickstarter, I'm in. full. on. support.
breath it in.
I wanna see that thing in different poses. The only thing I can complain about is the lack of a thigh swivel. Other than that, THIS is how you pique my interest in 4 inch figures. That thing has articulation that can almost match Marvel Legends.
Im in too. Im not personally into the Greek / Mythical stuff, but I'll support it as they move forward so they can do other things
.
One can dream.
Personally, I'd like to see some robotic or future-tech military stuff. Not a G.I. Joe clone, something unique yet still military. Haloish I guess. And robits. Terminator/Robocop/BATS vs Halo/Gears/KillZone. Or something.

Boss Fight Base Figure Sculpts and Stands Preview - The Toyark - News

Base figures and stand preview
more please.
I just want a 10 pack of those stands, x10. Smaller footprint than Joe ones, not as small as the other ones out there, can stop buying loosies with the wrong names on eBay.
so she gets ankle pivot articulation and the guy doesn't
I'm real happy with what Boss Fight is doing so far. I'm a little iffy on the hip articulation but I want to see one in person before I get too judgmental. Really looking forward to this release.
Edit: I saw a picture on their Facebook page that had the prototype posed a little and I am happy to say that the hip articulation looks like their take on the GI Joe T-bar. I don't know if that piece will be metal or plastic but it is one of my favorite (and in my opinion) best hip articulation system I've seen so far and to see Boss Fight use something similar has me excited more.
Hopefully they sell blank bodies too! I would love to get one of those to custom make a figure or two!
Q: Will you offer blank versions of your figure bodies for customizers?
A: That’s something we’ve talked about a great deal, and will likely be offered as a stretch-goal in our kickstarter campaign.

I think that the female figure's abs are a little too chiseled. Aside from that, the lack of thigh rotation, and the arm swivel being at the elbow, and not the bicep. They look good. I think that the guy should get ankle rockers too, but that's not that big of a deal breaker.
I was surprised they didn't decide to just do this outright since it's something customizers really want access to (and they claim to be customizers) so maybe they are guessing that a straight-up blank as their initial release wouldn't generate as much sales as a themed figure. I have faith in their vision for this line and I really think the blanks will get to the public regularly. I even think blanks on their own will outsell the themed figure line... As long as the figures are competitively priced.
But yeah, thigh rotation would be nice. It's something I think Joe figures are sorely lacking in.
Another, less important issue I have with rocker ankles is that they're harder to render compatible when swapping feet out. The traditional feet can simply be pulled off and plugged into effectively any other leg with the same kind of hole. But rocker ankles have a concavity that is proprietarily sculpted for the specific leg they're meant to connect to.
