Why couldn't they have given Magneto his NOW! look? Ah whatever, at least we're getting modern Cyclops.

Yeah that would have been cool, and Emma and Magik's as well!

How does Cyclops fire his optic blast with that kind of mask? Usually he wore a visor or glasses or somehow exposed his eyes or controlled the beam. Would this just rip his mask up?

I'm assuming the inside is made out of whatever his sunglasses are, the goggles were what controlled the size/extent of the blasts maybe after he got better at doing it without the adjustment knobs?

Makes as much sense as his sunglasses.

The Stryfe looks fantastic I don't know too terribly much about the character either but it's a nice sculpt.

Does modern Jubilee not have the random waist belts she used to or did they just not make them?

I like Stryfe but wish some paint shading was done. I guess the Metallic look inhibits the shading, but I think the line looks like #2.

Because Magneto in this suit is iconic and much more recognizable, and there has not been a good Magneto in this suit in the Marvel Legends line (that first one that came out was a Iron Man repaint, and was lame, so it does not count). I don't think Magneto in that NOW suit will hold up over time, and they probably made this Cyclops figure because they have already done all the other suits he wore...

I am happy to see this Magneto finally released...I still can't believe that horrid Sunfire figure won out over Magneto, Storm and Silver Samurai...now they need to release that Storm figure so I can finally have my Giant Sized X-Men #1 display.

So, what's the deal with making normal-sized or smaller-sized characters as the Build-A-Figures? That used to be for giant-sized characters like Apocalypse or a Sentinel. But now we've been getting Rocket Raccoon, Hit Monkey, and now Jubilee. Have they run out of giant characters already?

Or is this more of a cost issue? If that's the case, then it's more understandable to do smaller characters.

money wise , i read somewhere it had china getting human rights i.e they weren't getting paid minimum wage they weren't getting paid as much as they should've been but now they are so we can only do cheaper figures , although having said this.... MU got a Galactus and helicarrier playset although these were for MU scale but the MU Galactus is i think taller than the toybiz one so there isn't a problem really , but if you look at marvel legends prices now , imagine how much they could cost, and some people said the x-men wave is cheaper then others which makes sense the amazing spider-man 2 wave we got a baf green goblin as ultimate thus the figures costing more because he's bigger and compared to jubilee the x-men should be cheaper.

basically more plastic = expensive toys / less plastic = cheaper toys if they did some one like galactus again depending on size it might cost £/$ 30.00 a fig which nobody would buy at that price

although i have paid more than that for 1 figure but he was Deadpool [series 6] in MOC with four comics

The cyclops visor thing is valid but I've seen some artists make sense of it by aligning it onto his eyes while others make me question if he can see but it's supposed to be for propoganda purposes & to play off of his new inability to fully control his powers.

The BAF doesn't bother me because the characters & size variances make it versatile & I like how it somewhat makes it easier & cheaper if you choose to just buy pieces especially after the rarity of figures like Emma Frost & the movie version of Rocket Racoon.

I do like the magneto figure but his classic costume wasn't what I'd want. I preferred his new x men garb (http://ebid.s3.amazonaws.com/upload_...168-8852-0.jpg ) or even his Marvel Now white costume. The rest of the roster is fine with me. I'm eager to grab these up when they come into the store I frequent
