According to an article at the New York Post, movie themed toys and action figures are simply just sitting on toy shelves. The over-crowding of toys related to movie such as Amazing Spider-Man 2, Transformers: Age of Extinction and Captain America: The Winter Soldier are so prevalent, that it is causing retailers to mark them down in attempts to clear out precious shelf space.
