New Toyfinity Robo Force and Mordles From NJCC

Posted on March 9, 2014 at 1:41 pm by Joe Moore under Convention News, General Toy News

At NJCC, our friends at Toyfinity Toys showcased their lineup of Mordles and Robo Force figures. Included were some all new figures. Included were:

Robo Force

  • Wrecker – Glow in the Dark
  • Sentinel – Silver

Mordles

  • Quinhos – Oversized Figure
  • Seas of Uzalek – New 10 Figure Pack

They also had a bunch of other items on display, including some Power Lords figures (that look great in person). They had some great custom oversized Mordles ondisplay, including a fantastic looking Devilsh Mordle. Glyos, Beanbots and a new Mordle trading card were on display at the booth.

Check out all the photos after the jump.

It's a little disappointing Sentinel and Wrecker don't have brand new head designs. Simply turning a previous character's head around and calling it a new character is probably going to get old fast with collectors. Sentinel looks sort of like the original, but Wrecker really doesn't look anything like his original design. His big round eyes should've been incorporated. I'm hoping that's not actually Wrecker, but just a random figure put together to show off GITD parts.

I talked to John at length during the show. Those are the configurations he's planning on putting out for those colorways. Though I wouldn't be surprised if someone comes up with a different head configuration while messing with it once it comes out.

Well, that's indeed disappointing then. If I buy the GITD figure, I'll probably just consider it a new character instead of Wrecker.

Actually, the head could maybe pass for Cruel the Detonator.
