I often think Mattel receives an unfair amount of criticism but boy, some of this new stuff is insanely disappointing. They're repackaging old figures with Super Powers-style packaging? Is there something I'm missing here?

Keaton cowl looks so much better, need masked and unmasked now.

Ok, Total Heroes may be the best way to get figures in the 6 inch scale in the current style since the old DCUC style is being retired with the Super Powers send off ( they also look ok)

Nice to see the 4 inch Movie Superman now has added joints to him

Oh my. That DeLorean is AMAZING. It has an opening Mr. Fusion, the proper letters on the tires(absent from EVERY version of the time machine that I've seen), Doc's alarm clock that he put on the dashboard in the first movie, and even a HOVERBOARD.

If a MOTUC figure is a subscription figure...you have to have a sub to buy him correct?>??

Subscription Only yes it's how they get you to buy 45 figures you don't want... This way they hold you Hostage for Junk.

whoa....I'll get Doomsday, Ice, Connor, and Aquaman...but, that 30th anniversary stuff...its almost a slap in the face. And by "almost", I mean it IS a slap in the face. I actually laughed a maniacal laugh when I saw the photos and packaging...I felt I had to celebrate the level of malicious intent they seemed to descend to in actually green-lighting this "stuff" and presenting it to fans. Well, thanks for the memories Mattel. I'm sorry I pissed you guys off so badly by spending hundreds of dollars buying your merch....

On a positive note, the Total Heroes line looks cool for kids. Although, I could never see purchasing that stuff as an adult collector.

When does the wave 2 hit of multiverse? My stores are emptying out of the first and I got everyone I wanted including a multiple or two. Also, I thought there was 4 waves of em. Whos in the next 2?

While nostalgia made me beam when I saw the Super Powers packaging...and under ordinary circumstances, yes, i'd be sucker enough to scoop them up at retail...but $30? For repaints? I mean...I like the packaging, sure...but NOT for $30.

Granted, Mxy isn't a repaint...but he IS a much smaller figure! So sure, if Hasbro got me to buy Star Wars Black Series R2-D2 for $20, yeah, I could do Mxy for that much...but NOT for $10 more.

I'm up for a recolored Kalibak and Myx but <edited now that I caught a glimpse of the card> who green-lighted Hal Jordan as the Riddler? Worse than the Lantern wave. Horrible color tone on that one as well.

The 90's Aquaman is awesome and I'll probably get Damian & Tora . . . . the Firestorm is a tad weird though, it looks pretty close to the Classic's sculpt but with a whole bunch of customizable accessoriess/heads . . . is this for the kid's line but one of those matty exclusives? Or is it a Classics figure?

It's funny that they are sending off the line with a Super Powers themed figures since trying to make the DCUC a SP 2.0 is one of the factors that killed the line.

That is true . . . and I answered my own question above once I started picking through the pictures one by one . . .the Matty figures aren't that bad . . .the GL ,Batman Beyond, Manta & Firestorm look decent, but their retail Batman, Superman, & Wonder Woman for the line just don't work for me. The Sinestro does though; maybe I will just buy the villains and the online offerings.

Yeeeesh, $30 a pop for re-decoed DCUC. I'm glad I already have the original versions of those figures.

Yeah just realized the Kalibak is the Build a Figure . . I'll get Mxy but not the rest. I have them all already, well except GL as Riddler & the Gold Supes but I really don't need them.

I want that Superman and Mxyzsptlik, I just don't know if I am willing to spend $30 on them. Either way, I'll buy them from BBTS as I am not dropping a single cent on MattyCollector ever again.

I just don't understand the Riddler Green Lantern thing. Hopefully the final product actually has correctly colored legs because that just looks bad. Sure, Mattel has been known to use different colored plastic before on the lower legs and arms and stuff, but at least in a photo it has not looked THAT bad.

I didn't either, but after a quick google search. Apparently the original Super Powers Riddler was a recolored Green Lantern.

They are just repaints of figures we already have.

Bit disappointed here. Masters of the Universe looks good, and that 1:18 Delorean is fan-friggin-tastic. Little hoverboard is tops.

DC stuff hurts. Total Heroes looks alright, great for the kiddies, and the Superpowers stuff looks like fun but for $30 a figure that's a bit much considering I open my figures anyway (packaging seems like it's the biggest benefit).

Was really hoping for more Multiverse. Not giving up on it already are they? Thought they said there were more lines planned, so you'd figure they'd show them for Toy Fair. Also, was really crossing my fingers for a Keaton Batmobile scaled in that size. Someday....

I get that, but I don't get Mattel. They really expect people to pay $42 (after shipping) for THAT?!
