McFarlane Announces Assassin’s Creed Series 2 Figures

McFarlane has posted an announcement revealing which figures will be in Assassin’s Creed Series 2. They’re due out in August and include the following figures:

• AVELINE DE GRANDPRÉ
• ASSASSIN ADEWALÉ
• CONNOR WITH MOHAWK

Expand Your Assassin Collection This Fall

McFarlane Toys continues its partnership with Ubisoft to create action figures from the blockbuster Assassin’s Creed® series of video games. The Assassin’s Creed series tells the story of a heroic order of Assassins, fighting a conspiracy that spans thousands of years. Assassin’s Creed Series 2 brings collectors three great new figures from the latest installments of the blockbuster Assassin’s Creed video game franchise. Series 2 includes all-new characters, outfits, weapons, and more from Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation and the Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag expansion pack, Freedom Cry. Each figure will unlock exclusive Assassin’s Creed Initiates content and for Series 2, we’re bringing exclusive Avatars, Badges, early access to Missions, and more!*

*Exclusive Avatars require Assassin’s Creed Initiates account. Missions and Badges also require Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD, available on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.

AVELINE DE GRANDPRÉ
The heroine of Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation, and the first playable female Assassin in the series, Aveline de Grandpré fought slavery in the bayous of Louisiana before teaming up with her fellow Assassin, Connor, during the American Revolution. This fan-favorite character is also featured in the Playstation-exclusive bonus missions of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag.

ASSASSIN ADEWALÉ
This all-new playable Assassin character is the star of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag’s single-player campaign DLC, “Freedom Cry.” Originally introduced as a crewmember on Edward Kenway’s ship in Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, Adewale has now taken the oath, become a full Assassin, and is embarking on all-new missions, fighting slavers in Haiti.

CONNOR WITH MOHAWK
As an added bonus, a limited number of Connor action figures will be released with a fierce new look. After killing his Templar nemesis in the final act of Assassin’s Creed III, the vengeful Assassin began to reject both American and British culture, shaving his hair into a Mohawk and applying war paint to his face. This figure will be available at Walgreens and other select retailers.
