Eaglemoss has been putting out some high quality die-cast Star Trek Starship replicas for a while now. Each are finely detailed and come with a collector magazine about the ship. We were able to get our hands on the first 6 thanks to Eaglemoss representatives, and we’ve done up a quick photo shoot highlighting the best features of each. Check out over 70 pics and some quick thoughts after the break!
Here’s some background on Eaglemoss Star Trek Starships from their website:
Eaglemoss Publications Ltd has been creating amazing collections in Europe since the 1970s. Eaglemoss works with some of the greatest brands including Marvel Inc, DC Comics and Eon Productions, and is especially pleased to have been given the licence to create this collection by CBS.
This brand new collection of model STAR TREK starships includes all the most significant vessels from all five STAR TREK TV series, including dozens of ships that have never been produced before. Each ship has been painstakingly recreated in die-cast metal and high quality ABS and then painted by hand. Each model also comes with a special collector’s magazine.
Two new ships will be released every month. And here’s the good bit – each model with its magazine is only $19.95 (issue one only $4.95!).
They work a subscription model and are currently offering over 20 different ships from Star Trek, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek Voyager, Star Trek Deep Spack Nine, Star Trek Enterprise. There are also subscription incentives including ships you can only get if you hit a certain amount of shipments.
For our action figure readers who may have run across Hasbro’s Titanium line a while back – this is like an up-scaled version of that. They are bigger and include finer and more abundant paint applications. The ships come with a uniform base, the stands are custom molded to ensure a sturdy fit. Each comes with a large format magazine detailing the ship as if you were in the universe, a field guide of sorts. Overall a well presented, finely crafted collectible.
I personally am not a huge Star Trek fan. I watched TOS in reruns as a kid, TNG when it was on casually, seen all the movies – but that’s where it stops for me. That being said, I can appreciate the craftsmanship that went into these. If you’re looking for a couple Star Trek pieces to compliment your desk or shelf, Eaglemoss stuff might fit your bill. If you’re a die-hard Star Trek fan, we probably aren’t telling you anything new :). Check out their website for subscription details or take a look on the secondary market for particular ships. Enjoy the pics below!

Eaglemoss Star Trek Starships Photo Shoot - The Toyark - News

I really like the Bird of Prey there. Turned out really well.
What scale are these?
Star Trek: The Official Starships Collection - Memory Alpha, the Star Trek Wiki
USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D - 1:4610
USS Enterprise NCC-1701 (2271) - 1:2260
Klingon Bird-of-Prey - 1:1580
Enterprise NX-01 - 1:1700
Romulan Warbird - 1:10000
USS Voyager NCC-74656 - 1:2550
K't'inga Class Battle Cruiser - 1:2610
USS Excelsior NCC-2000 - 1:3470
USS Defiant NX-74205 - 1:1550
Borg Sphere - 1:9000
USS Reliant NCC-1864 - 1:2020
So the Defiant and Bird of Prey would be roughly in scale with the DST Enterprise D and E.
Refit is missing some paint apps, and some of the apps are wrong (registry). Hope they fix it when A is released.
I was wondering if anyone could answer a question regarding Enterprise-D?
Here in these pics it looks like the bussard collectors are dark dark red. Yet on some pics and even review videos it looks like it's a lighter, richer red like it should look. Does anyone know if there are different versions out there? I'm asking cause mine is really dark red no matter how much light I try to have through it to light it up. It never seems to get a brighter red like it should be and seems to be very dark. Are they all like that or only mine/a few?
