Damn it. I hate the blood paint they put on Maggie. It makes her look too specific, like she just came out of a zombie battle. They should make her look more generic like every other human character. The Governor, Carl, Andrea, Tyreese, and Glenn look generic, like they could be placed in any situation. Why did they have to put blood spatters on Maggie!!?? I'm probably going to have to repaint her, and color matching is a bitch.

What the hell kind of hip articulation is one those figures? It looks like the legs will only rotate outward. Why even put hip and knee articulation on these, if that's how it's going to be implemented? Granted, I may be wrong and they have t-crotches and thigh swivels (what I'm seeing).

The thighs connect to the hips with double ball joints. The hips are made of soft plastic, which allows for some 360 pivoting (like a joystick); but it doesn't get anywhere near 90 degrees.

The new daryl looks like he has those DCUC style hips. Here's hoping future figures have them as well.

You're right. It does look like that. However, I don't think any other figures from TWD will have them. If you look at Daryl's shirt, the bottom fringe has been specifically sculpted to look like his thighs are wrinkling it - you can see 2 slight arches in the shirt that allow the thighs to bend at a 90 degree angle. Since there aren't any other characters associated with a motorcycle, I don't think any other figures will share Daryl's leg articulation.

*sigh* that's probably how things are going to turn out, i also noticed it looks like the new daryl doesn't have any thigh swivels, two steps forward one step back mcf.

I'm not gonna lie, I was hoping that Glenn would have a removable baseball cap accessory. I wouldn't even care if it looked goofy and oversized to fit on the action figure's head, I just miss the hat.

He's been too sexy for a baseball cap since season 3.

That pretty much sums up her character arc. Ever since Amy died, Andrea never really picked herself back up. Her bad decisions mounted, until she was finally forced to kill herself.

I'm leery of the MacFarlane Walking Dead figures, but I preordered Tyreese back when he was first revealed. I have a feeling Maggie is going to be one of those 'have to see her in person' figures, but if she looks good I may pull the trigger. Glen looks pretty cool too.

    Ugggggh!!!!
Why did they randomly splash Maggie with blood, when none of the other living characters have blood!?!??

I'm gonna have to do a serious repaint to her. Probably the most tedious, careful, and complicated repaint job I've ever attempted. *sigh*
With any luck, I'll be able to scrape off the blood without removing too much of the skin layer, negating the need for any actual repainting.

EDIT: Oh god... I just realized she has no ankle articulation. WHY!!?!?? They managed to squeeze double-ball joints into the folds of Andrea's boots, but not Maggie!?? What the hell is going on at McFarlane? Well that's real cute, now I'm going to have to buy 2 Maggies in order to butcher them both and create the perfect Maggie.

I think Mcfarlane put that useless leg/hip articulation so he can call them action figures.

The hip articulation is so strange. I've got the Michonne figure and the hips are pretty worthless. It's like McF went out of their way to design complicated hip articulation that has little more range than a rotational cut. It looks especially bad on Tyreese - the poor fella looks like he's got a load in his pants.

I'll echo the dismay over Maggie's random blood splash, too.
