DC Collectibles Reveals Injustice Joker Figure

Posted on November 18, 2013 at 8:13 am by Joe Moore under DC Toy News

DC Collectibles held a Q&A on their Facebook page about some of their products. They revealed a new Injustice Joker 3.75″ Figure. The image shows a work in progress sculpt, so some details may change. Other than that, for the most part, nothing too revealing. You can check out the rest of the Q&A, and the photo of The Joker, after the jump.

Hey everyone!
In an effort to keep the communication lines as open as possible, starting today and occurring twice a month, DC Collectibles will be answering some of the questions posted here on our Facebook page. Check out the answers to questions asked over the past few weeks!

Q: Are the Teen Titans Figures sold individually or as a 3-pack?
A: Our Teen Titan Superboy, Kid Flash and Wonder Girl Action Figures are each sold separately.

Q: I’m still hoping for Batman and The Joker Injustice figures. With the release of Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition, will we finally receive Batman and The Joker figures?
A: We can’t hold on to this secret forever! Do to the large amount of questions regarding these two figures, we’re happy to announce that we’ll be releasing Injustice: Gods Among Us: Batman and The Joker 3.75″ Action Figures later this year. Check out the work in progress picture of The Joker attached to this post!

Q: Hey DC! I just received a Batman & Bane Action Figure 2-pack and there is a defect. Who should I contact?
A: First off and when possible, contact the store from which you purchased our product and they should be able to help you out. For all quality control issues, please contact Diamond Distributers at 443-318-8001. If you purchased through shopdccollectibles.com, please call 888-738-0118 or head to the “contact us” page at shopdccollectibles.com.

Q: DC Collectibles, I hope you can get your act together as it pertains to the durability of their figures.
A: The DC Collectibles team is constantly striving to produce the best quality product possible. We are always refining our quality control process to catch flaws or imperfections. Thank you for your comments and for supporting our toy lines.

Eh, I can wait until they get around to doing a classic comic version.

Anyone else get the feeling that this was the one of the weakest "secrets" ever kept? We all pretty much knew they'd do Bats and Mr. J. at some point. It would have been a real injustice not to include them.

They said this was going to released later this year I always thought it would be almost impossible but at most I was expecting either some additional photos or an update on the release date. Or do they mean later in 2014 LOL

They have been posting so much stuff on their facebook page but nothing related to Injustice specially these 2 figures.

    Anyone knows anything?

Maybe they meant the end of the fiscal year? I believe they still have a couple of months left before that's over, but even that seems like a stretch.

I'm not holding my breath, really.

It's also possible that they had some issues with the sculpt or other issues with the test shots (QC, tolerances, etc), and that it's simply been delayed. The pic was still a work-in-progress and that was only a month and a half ago.

Ye but they were the ones telling that date in fact I don't even think anyone asked. Maybe they forgot they were in November already LOL

But that's kind of my point. At the time, DCC may have thought he was coming out by the end of December, But due to unforeseen circumstances, they were forced to delay him.

That is one of the reasons you'll never hear toy companies willingly talk about future plans more than a year out.

Psst... Mattel has nothing to do with this.

I hope the reason for the delay is to fix the Q.V. issues with these figures. I'm ok with the delay add long as these figures don't break out of the box. Kilowog and rayner were the 1st and worst offenders.

That would be nice. I waited until I had $11 in ebay bucks before finally ordering my Nightwing/Superman pack, simply because these things are almost guaranteed to have problems/breakages and aren't worth full price.

I love the Catwoman/Doomsday pack, for example, but Doomsday's waist articulation is stuck and the white paint is chipping off his teeth, and both of Catwoman's wrists feel like they'll shear right off if I attempt to turn them again.

Ye my Catwoman had the same issue but I placed her arms in hot water and with patience I managed to remove the hands/wrists. After 1 min or so I placed them back on and now she is ok.

I have done this with most of the injustice figures. The woman figures are especially fragile right out of the box. Harley had some a stuck joint on her forearm swivel. I wish I did that with my kilowog and rayner.

Well my 1st Wonder Women had the worst QC of all I guess. I took her out of the box moved the arms very slowly because I knew about these issues already and they broke on the shoulder joint almost immediately lol. Rest of the joints with some hot water and patience went to work just fine.

Got a 2nd one for free and I managed to make a perfect one out of the 2. The eyes had better paint apps and everything so I swapped the head and upper torso with arms from the 2nd to the 1st figure because the lower legs and feet of the second were just stuck. Tried to forced them one of the ankle joint broke.
