One of the gems from the New 52 reboot has been the Batman book. It’s featured well written story lines, great art, and superb reintroductions of classic characters. One of the best being the Death of the Family (of, not in) which brought the Joker back in a big way. They Joker has always been crazy but I think the general populace has gotten used to the white skin, red lips, green hair combo. It’s become almost friendly, not truly representing the creepiness the Joker should convey. Well, the writers fixed that perfectly here because he’s cut off his own face and stapled it back on. He goes after Batman and all the Bat-Family in the book and takes the crazy to a new level.
DC Collectibles has captured all this in their 6 inch New 52 Joker figure perfectly. Uniform is accurate, comes with his tool belt and tools, face is adequately gross. Build quality is solid. Articulation is in line with previous DCC New 52 figures, specifically lacking in the lower half. But as a slightly pose-able plastic statue, it’s a great piece for the DC shelf. We’ve done up a high res gallery of him for you, so check out over 35 shots after the break!
