Toyark’s Black Series Wave 2 photo shoots carry on today with #06 Boba Fett. The galactic bounty hunter was first released at San Diego Comic Con as an exclusive, the first Black Series figure on the market. The SDCC figure came with a Han Solo in carbonite and a fancy box though. Wave 2 Boba is pretty much identical. We’ve done up comparison shots so you can look for yourselves, but the only differences we can find are some weathering differences on his belt and lower legs. This may just be production-line paint application variances and not a true across-the-board difference. Either way, if you missed out on Boba at SDCC, you won’t be missing anything other than the carbonite brick. We reviewed SDCC Boba Fett back in August, and we still give this guy a high recommendation. Check out over 30 images of Wave 2 Boba after the break!
Note – For all the comparison shots – SDCC Boba is on the left and Wave 2 Boba is on the right.

Very nice pics...I also really like having access to all the old Black Series galleries.
Such a great line, nice pics! Han shot first.....
All the naked joints is a little unsettling. But regardless I'm really stoked for this wave.
Yeah, I'd almost want less joints on Leia. Still, great pics and I'm looking forward to seeing more.
Eh, no. I like the joints, because Leia is at her most nimble while wearing this costume. She never runs, jumps, climbs, or attacks anyone in any of her other costumes. She's just a pretty statue in all of her other scenes. But in this costume, she jumps on Jabba, swings a chain around his neck, chokes him to death, runs and jumps around the upper deck of the sail barge, controls its massive twin-canon, and swings on a rope. Only one other character is more athletic than her in the original trilogy, her brother Luke. She needs those joints.
On another note, I was initially worried the paint applications on Leia would be abyssmal. Now I see they're decent.
All I have to worry about now is that horrible sculpted hair on Yoda.
I would have preferred Bespin Leia to be the first version out, but I'll take what I can get. She still kicked butt in her slave outfit.
ANH: shoots multiple Stormtroopers in her diplomat/Princess outfit.
ESB: shoots multiple Stormtroopers in her third Bespin outfit.
ROTJ: shoots multiple Scout Bikers/Stormtroopers in her Endor fatigues. Also shoots one of Jabba's guards in her Boushh disguise (albeit off-camera).
I do agree Leia is at her most athletic in the slave outfit, but I would argue that she had to be until she was able to get a gun.

Not a collector of these, but they are pretty nice.
I'm enjoying that I'm catching this line right at the start. Those look great. Boba Fett & Greedo look impressive.
So far the Greedo, the Troopers and Boba Fett are my favorites of the line. Not digging the Slave Leia too much.

Han looks decent as well. I think the Luke turned out a bit better overall, but the additions of the glove hands and removable vest are nice touches.
Looks like I'll be wanting Han and Boba out of this wave. Still need to pick up Luke and R2 from wave 1.
...I just felt a great disturbance in my wallet.
I'm leaving the belt off but he will be wearing those gloves. Kinda wish he wore them throughout the film.

Updated with a round of artistic shots from Wave 2
Great photos, great figures.
Only negative is the flesh color on Han's arms where his sleeves end. It doesn't remotely match the flesh colored plastic and looks like he has yellowish arm bands.
Otherwise, I'm loving this line and can't wait to get mine when my BBTS pre-order gets fulfilled.
Do we have any idea if there are chances Black Series figures look slightly different (decal offsets, weathering, colour) when manufactured at non-US factories?
I.e. US released Boba has the round decal on the left side of his chest located at the top left hand corner. Whereas, trilogo Canadian retail Boba has the decal slightly to the centre of the left side of the chest.
Do we have any documented evidence of variations like this either on the figure or on the box?
