Toyark forum member InfinityParadox has stopped by to share a fun find. At a Meyer store in Western Australia, he picked up a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Chrome Shredder. The item was previously a San Diego Comic-Con 2013 Exclusive. It was listed for $29.95 AUD (which would be roughly the U.S. price as well), but was on sale for $22.95. You can also see the Shredder listed in the Meyer ad in the photo.

Hey guys, found this chrome Shredder at retail this weekend. I did an online search and found these were available as a SDCC exclusive.

My find was at Myer in Western Australia.
wow nice find!...
Nice find. Thanks for sharing the pic.
So the SDCC release wasn't that popular?
I'm not sure how popular he is but he is an awesome figure.
Wonder if he'll hit state side...
It may only be a retail release in Australia. Exclusives in one country aren't always offered in the same way in another country. For example, a chromed version of the TF ROTF Ravage mold ("Recon Ravage") was a mail-away exclusive in the US, but was available at regular retail in both Canada and Australia.
EDIT: And since that version of Shredder was an SDCC exclusive here, I sincerely doubt we will see it offered at US retail. The mold may get re-used for a future retail release, but it will not be the same as the SDCC version (like some of the MU exclusives from SDCC in previous years).
