Play Imagintive Announces Marvel Licensing Deal For China
Not interested in the 1/4 scale, as they're going to be stupid expensive, and too big for my limited display space, but the 6'' figures could be amazing!!!
I am transitioning my collection to just MP/Classics TFs and 1/6th figures. I am interested in limited selection of 1/4 figures of my favorite characters, and will be getting rid of all my 6" and 3.75" figures to make room and money for them. If they are worth it that is....
I'm very interested in what Hot Toys has planned for their 1/4th Marvel license. Their program has just gotten off the ground with the amazing 1/4th Endo skeleton, and I'm proud to call it my first quarter scale figure. Enterbay is also doing great things with their Terminator license and I eagerly await my BD T800, but Play Imaginative is a fairly new company. The only figure I have had the chance to check out is their Batman. He was cool but not 250 dollars cool. I'm much happier with my DX12. These quarter scale Iron Men look amazing but the prototypes are fairly deceiving. They are not even die-cast, they are plastic prototypes. Show me some real prototypes, drop that price a bit, and once I can compare it to what Hot Toys is offering I might bite.
The only company to get my money for sure though is the one that creates the Silver Centurion.
