Arcadia has arisen from the ashes of Yamato Toys! After much speculation as to if and when Arcadia would “resume” production of Macross Toys, the answer is within the pages of Figure King #184. Their 1st Macross toy will be the Macross 30th Anniversary 1/60 VF-1J Valkyrie. It sports a rather extensive paint scheme designed by famed artist Hidetaka Tenjin. Hasegawa is also releasing a 1/72 plastic model kit(fighter mode) with the same deco.
Arcadia’s new VF-1J toy is scheduled for release in August for 16,590 yen. We aren’t quite sure on this, but previous issues did mention “fun, new gimmicks”. Whether or not this 1/60 VF-1 features even more gimmicks than previous Yamato 1/60 VF-1 toys remains to be seen. Read on to check out the 1st image(courtesy of Cybergundam Blog) of Arcadia’s 30th anniversary VF-1J.

Arcadia Macross 30 VF-1J Valkyrie
It looked like it fell off the ugly tree and hit every limb on the way down.
I won't be buying this at $160 bucks before markups.
I just dropped by to say tuxedo. That is all.
The deco is so ugly, it's awesome!
This is probably what it would look like if the SDF were run by NASCAR.
