Welcome to Toyark: Off The Shelf. In today’s round-up of toy and pop culture news, tidbits and odds-n-ends, we have a pretty big update. We’ve got some great t-shirts, cakes, photos and videos to check out from Superman, Spider-Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, WizKids, Batman, Iron Man, Star Wars and more. Among them is the new Thor: The Dark World trailer that premiered this week.

Back in 1977, there was a nigh unwatachable live action Spider-Man TV series. Here’s the intro. I never realized how much it looks like a vintage Italian horror/giallo movie. Creepy.
