The Star Trek Minimates are getting a bit of a boost from one of the most iconic episodes from the original series. Right now, they’ve announced the mirror-verse I.S.S. Fans of Star Trek and Minimates alike have been anxiously awaiting the release of the USS Enterprise in Minimate Vehicle form, and the stylized starship is only a few short months away from being in stores. Now, Diamond Select Toys and Art Asylum are happy to announce a new Star Trek Minimates ship that’s exclusively at Entertainment Earth!From the classic Star Trek episode “Mirror, Mirror,” it’s the I.S.S. Enterprise! In a mirror universe, the Enterprise and its crew are bloodthirsty representatives of a cruel civilization, and our universe’s Captain James T. Kirk must pose as his evil counterpart while finding a way back home. This exclusive version of the Minimate Enterprise features the distinctive “Terran Empire” markings and comes with Kirk in his sleeveless gold tunic! The Enterprise’s engineering section opens up to reveal a Jefferies Tube, and the bridge opens up to reveal the removable command chair. Limited on only 1,000 pieces, the ship also includes an adjustable display base!
New Mirror Mirror Star Trek Minimates Revealed
Since this creates the necessary tooling, I'm kinda hoping they release a Cage Enterprise. Since I doubt I'll ever own the DS version of it, and I don't think Hot Wheels will be doing one, and I don't plan on getting either the TOS or Mirror versions of this, I would probably buy a Cage version.
