In case you missed it in the Warner Bros. Press Release, and quite frankly it was easily missed, there was some really great toy news buried there. It was announced that NECA would be doing 1/4 Scale DC Characters. Right now a Man of Steel Superman and a Batman Classic TV Series Adam West Batman are confirmed and both will be roughly 18″ tall. We’ll have more info and pics as they become available, likely from New york Toy Fair 2013.

Press Release - Warner Bros Toy Fair 2013
Hidden in the press release is that NECA will be doing a 1/4 Scale Man of Steel Superman. They're claiming it will be more articulated than the Movie Masters version. They will also be doing 1/4 Scale Batman TV Series figures.
What does "Evergreen" Batman mean? I never heard that term before. Are the figures made from recycled bottles or something? >: )
Evergreen means that its a consistent line of toys regardless of what movie or other media product is available. In this case, the Power Attack Batman line is the Evergreen line that will always have space on the shelf, even after Dark Knight Rises product is gone.
Oh man, definitely looking forward to NECA DC figures! I plan on getting the Avengers figures too, so it'll be fun to display Marvel movieverse figures VS DC movieverse figures!
If NECA can get a quarter scale figure license for DC comics comic-verse characters it'll be icing on the cake.
Batman... sounds tempter.
All of the Adam West stuff sounds good to me. Not sure what, but I'll definitely be getting something for my father from all of the offerings (he grew up watching the show). He collects trains, so he's not new to collecting, but I'm not sure an action figure would be right. That said, if I got him one, it would most likely be the Romero Joker figure they'll inevitably do. Though I might just get a Batmobile model, put it together, and then make a nice little display base for it.
I'll probably be getting a couple of things for myself too. A Romero Joker will be a must.
So anything actually good to look forward to? All I see are garbage toys based on garbage tv shows that should have stayed hidden away in copyright hell.
