We have received the 1st batch of answers for the MattyCollector 2013 Q&A. Without further ado…1) Is there any chance that we can see a DC Universe Space Ghost figure, or does Jazzwares have the license locked down?A) No. We do not have right to Space Ghost. Meh.2) For elbow/knee pads on WWE figures, have you ever considered using nylon or some sort of cloth/fabric instead of using soft plastic? The soft plastic hinders the range of motion, for example on figures like Batista, et al.A) Yes, we have looked into many types of materials and are always exploring things like this.3) Since the Movie Masters line debuted, a common sight at retail stores is an over abundance of Batman figures. Finding 2 Face proved to be a chore, and Ras Al Ghul was definitely challenging to find. While retailers are right to belive that Batman is important for his own line, is there any way to convince them that Batman needs people to….fight? Sure Movie Masters are catered to older collectors but looking at it through a kid’s eyes, there’s no one else to find let alone buy. For example, where are the League Of Shadows ninjas, Bane’s allies, et al?A) At retail Batman just outsells the other characters by a huge factor. In the end, retail lines need to work for the majority of customers which even for a “collector” line are moms and kids when a line is at retail. That is why Batman is shipper in heavier quotes. It is simply supply and demand for the vast majority of customers.4) Have you ever considered making a MOTUC Kekdor based on the SDCC MOTU 2002 exclusive Keldor? The one with a melted face, swappable heads including a Skeletor head? That was a neat exclusiveA) Sure we have thought of this but no plans for a melted face right now. Maybe one day.5) Are all major retailers onboard for the upcoming DC/Batman All Stars lines or are they going to be mainly sold through online stores?A) They will be available at major retailers. Please post your MattyCollector 2013 Q&A questions in our new thread!
