First Photos Iron Man 3 Toys

Posted on December 19, 2012 at 10:54 am by Joe Moore under Marvel Toy News

The folks over at Idle Hands got a nice scoop. They have the first pics of some upcoming Iron Man 3 Toys. Please be aware, before you check out the pics or go any further, there may be POTENTIAL SPOILERS. Consider yourself warned!

Read on for the images as well as descriptions that may be spoiler-ish.

Iron Assemblers Battle Vehicle
The Iron Assemblers Interchangeable Armor System Battle Vehicle includes a 3.75″ Iron Man figure. The vehicle opens up in the front to launch the figure out, recreating a scene from the movie.

Iron Man 12″ Action Figure
Modeled after the armor from the first Iron Man movie, this is an all new sculpt that features slightly different details compared to the original release toys.

Iron Works and A.I.M.
Not pictured here are a few shirts that depict logos for both Iron Works – A Division of Stark Industries and A.I.M. – Advanced Idea Mechanics. ‘

YAY!! whole bunch of stuff to pass on, aim shirt could be cool though. It's going to be ML, iron man armoured avengers series and the odd 3 3/4 figure, the 12'' rotocast figures look ok but suck and not worth the plastic prices of $20-30.

Those rotocast figures have so much potential. If only they had just a tiny bit more articulation (knees/elbows/waist), they would work great scalewise as larger characters like movie Lizard and Destroyer. I only have Destroyer but I thought the detail was pretty decent.

I had Destroyer, he was descent and the scale worked with the Thor line mini figures. I just hate rotocast, I mean u put this much detail into the sculpt, but the same into articulation!

This definately looks like clearance material, surely they will bring out better stuff than this...won't they?

I'm not going to go hater mode just yet because I've got to believe that they will throw us collectors a few good figs at least...

The question I have is that if they do indeed have better figures then why show us this garbage first?

the three pics there are related to what looks like a gimmicky subline called Assemblers. Ill save my freakout s for when the single carded figs get shown. Its not time to freak out yet guys.

I hope they have a few cool single carded figures to add to my collection. Not expecting much but a couple cool repaints would be good.
