Late last month, Bandai Hobby revealed their 1st CAD image of their upcoming 1/72 VF-1 Perfect Transformation Model. We are catching up with news, and last week, a scan(from Cybergundam Blog) from the latest issue of Hobby Japan turned up. It showed the 1st prototype of the model.
On the 26th, Bandai Hobby’s dev blog for the VF-1 Plamodel was updated with a new entry by Uchida. The topic of discussion was a meeting on October 22nd, with Kawamori Shoji and various editors from the likes of Dengeki Hobby, Model Graphix, Hobby Japan, et al. Uchida and crew are still hard at work on the model. They are trying to make it proportionate in each mode without compromising the sculpt. At one point he says “I have become sick of this project”.
By the time we see Bandai’s new VF-1 model again, it may look substantially different. Check out the latest scan by clicking on the thumbnail.
