Alright I didn’t even know we HAD a Pokemon category but here goes. On display at Tamashii Nations 5th(again, I know, yes) were a few new D-Arts Pokemon figures. The very series that started the collectible card game-anime tie-in craze finally gets fully articulated Pokemon Monster figures. Figures shown(GOTTA CATCH THEM ALL AMIRITE?!) include:
- D-Arts Mewtwo
- D-Arts Mew(in that small effect bubble fighting Mewtwo)
- D-Arts Charzard

I *seriously* need that mewtwo!
Mew looks quite undersized, though. Mew's around a simular size as Pikachu, and that would make Mewtwo (Who's around the size of a fully grown man) in this display a behemoth.
Can't wait to find out more! I really hope we get those aura effect parts. I've gotta be selective about the pokemon I buy. This is ganna be a real slippery slope. 649 potential figures...
I always have a soft spot for pokemon. I'd like my favorites from the original 150 made.
cubone would be amazing.

going to catch 'em all? =)
I think they'll only pick the absolute most popular pokemon, same as they did for Digimon (Which has over a thousand, and they only did four, Ignoring others of the absolute most popular, like Renamon, Gallantmon, Guilmon, Agumon, Angiwomon).
Given their first three are Charizard, Mew, and Mewtwo, which are like, three of the top four pokemon people always mention, this seems to be the same direction. Mewtwo is after all to Pokemon what WarGreymon is to Digimon.
That said, I would expect Pikachu (I will be extremely pleased if the line finishes without a Pikachu. Not out of any malice towards Pikachu, but because that's always the go-to for pokemon), Snorlax, and Lugia to be high on their agenda.
Would be awesome if they tried to keep a sense of scale, and with small pokemon, release in a multipack with all it's evolutions, like a Pichu, Pikachu, Raichu threepack, and two Eeveelution multipacks (Eevee, Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon, and Espeon, Umbreon, Glaceon, and Leafeon). Maybe a legendary multipack with Celebi, Victini, and Jirachi.
Would also love to see Gyarados.
And what would absolutely floor me with this line, is if they do human figures... only instead of focusing on animu, they go with the trainers from the games. (Maybe make them smaller than the usualy D-Arts figures, and release them as twopacks, Male and Female trainers from each region)

wowwwwww man all these anime flashbacks!!!!!
man my childhood called....and I think I want that mewtwo, just to add it to my toy collection and to remember how cool I thought pokemon was, LOL.
with figma making samus/link and pit i got excited for a pokemon trainer figma, if figma doesnt make one then by all means lets hope d-arts does
Will be picking up Charizard and Mewtwo for sure, but I'd rather see more Digimon.
I guess you guys missed that the next two were already announced and on display there as well (but listed as not to be photographed). Those are, rather predictably, Blastoise and Venusaur.

Actually, Charizard would be Pokemon's WarGreymon.
Plus Pokemon isn't Digimon. That's probably why they're going with Blastoise and Venusaur by picking two Pokemon more iconic to the games than they are iconic to the anime.
I wouldn't be surprised to at least see Ash and Misty in the D-Arts line. Be nice to have a Pokeball attachment for the Tamashii ACT stands.
Like I said in my earlier post, they've got three of the top four best known pokemon. Charizard, Mew, and Mewtwo. Leaving out *only* Pikachu.
Nothing else, even Venasaur or Blastoise comes close to them.
O_O
My wallet is going to hate me so much....
For those who haven't seen. I pulled those from our friends at TokuNation

yessss. I love these guys. Are they all going to be 50 though? how would these scale with mega man?
Is it my imagination, or do their mouths look hinged?
May as well start selling coke..
Oh damn, I thought Charizard, Mew & Mewtwo were gonna make me broke...now there's Venusaur and Blastoise too!?
Holy shit this is awesome! I will buy all of them. Realky hope they make an Arcanine someday but that probably wont happen. Jolteon and Gyrados are a must as well!
I'm assuming here, but makes sense right? Plus I'D LOVE AN ARCANINE.
Yeah as long as the line does well i dont see why he couldnt be made. Im pretty excited to see what the future holds for it. Arcanine and Jolteon are my two favorite pokemon so i really want good figures of them
