4", if one of the exchanges with Jazwares' facebook is to be believed.

It's definitely for the 4" line, I saw this a couple of weeks ago at my TRU. I as of yet haven't decided whether or not I want it. It would make a great display set for the other Jazzwares MK figures I have... but their stuff is usually so low quality, I don't know if I should buy it.

I actually posted about this here almost two weeks ago. I guess nobody noticed.

The "look at what i passed up" thread.

While it looks nice, for $38, it should've really come with some 4" female characters for the chains.

TRU's website says 5" ... but that may be a literal height and still in the 4" scale.

So many of Shao Kahn's taunts work well against Jazzware:

    "Don't make me laugh."
    "You will never win!"
    "You are pathetic!"
    "Is that your best?"
    "That was pathetic!"
    "You weak, pathetic fool!"
    "You are nothing!"
    "You suck!"
    "It's official! You suck!"
    "You're still trying to win?"
    "Ha ha ha ha ha!"

Sounds right. As I recall Shao Kahn is a bit taller than most of the other MK figures, though still in the 4" scale.

Even though the Mortal Kombat Arena Set is way overpriced and under painted, I have to admit it's alot of fun.

I actually am very glad I got it considering I usually always regret buying these Jazwares figures.

I couldn't agree with you more. I stood in the aisle for awhile before pulling the trigger. I'm glad I did get it since it serves as a good dio for my mk figures. Nice pics. Did you use Quick Kick as a stand in for Liu Kang? Also, is that Freddy kruger same scale as them? If so, what is it from because thats badass?

I also touched up the gold on Shao Kahn to bring out the color a bit.

I used the DOA girls to be chained up.

Wasn't really a fan of the Baraka they did. So I stuck with my XMO Deadpool Baraka.

I've been seeing two of these online; the 20th Anniversary one, and what seems to be a regular release. They look slightly different in the pictures - does anyone know if there is a difference?

First off, great pics!! Love them.

Yeah I stood in the isles for what seemed like half an hour trying to decide too. Glad I decided to grab it though because everyone that comes to my house loves it and it's fun setting up different battles on it.

Yeah I was using Quick Kick as Liu Kang lol. The Freddy figure is from Mezco and is in scale with other 4 inch figures. Here are some more pictures of Freddy. There is also a 4 inch Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th Part IV, which has a removable mask and a Leatherface from the Original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I picked up the Comic Con Jason Voorhees because his paint job is much better then the store version.

I really wish we'd have gotten a Nightmare on Elm Street III Freddy because that's his best design in my opinion but it seems Mezco decided against releasing more of the 4 inch Horror Movie figures. I'd have killed for a 4 inch Michael Myers, Pinhead.

I was actually looking for quick kick figure to stand in for Liu Kang recently. Once I got the set, I started to think of other 3.75/4 figures I can use as stand ins for other mk characters.

Never knew about those Mezco horror figures. I may have to add thoses to my want list. Thanks for sharing that

So... does anyone know the difference between the 25th anniversary throne set and the one which has just been released?

It looks to me like the anniversary one comes with a figure and that's the only difference. Anyone confirm?

Could it be that the one with Shao Kahn is 4" scale and the other's 6"?

BBTS are selling a 6" scale throne: Mortal Kombat Playset - Shao Kahn Throne & Arena - Mortal Kombat Mortal Kombat 2011-2012
