Forum member denali33x pointed us to an auction for some of The Hobbit figures. Ebay user sperseius has an auction with the first wave of The Hobbit 6″ Action Figures in hand. Keep your eyes out for more and these as they are expected to be released in just a few short weeks. The auction contains the following figures:
– Thorin Oakenshield
– Legolas Greenleaf
– Tauriel
– Bilbo Baggins
– Gandalf the Grey

I give 'em bonus points for clearly really trying to be compatible with the Toy Biz LotR figures (even down to the packaging being similar enough that they wouldn't look out of place in a MIB collection). These don't look quite as good, but still an "A for effort."
