Amiblo has posted a pictorial preview of the 1/60 Yamato VF17D Nightmare with Super Pack. This toy features Diamond Force livery and represents Gamlin Kizaki’s(or the other guys who flew the D model but like the S model this may only come with name stickers denoting Gamlin) variable fighter. The VF-17D is offered by itself, or bundled with the Super Pack. This appears to be a final production sample, so it looks like the retail release will feature white trim in lieu of blue. In Macross 7 sometimes the trim appeared to be either blue or white. However in this case, series creator Kawamori Shoji may have dictated that the stripes are indeed supposed to be white. Something like this has happened before, like the time Yamato released their VF-0A in grey when it was brown in the Macross Zero OVA(aside from Shin’s VF-0A).
The FAST packs that attach to the legs in battroid mode, feature opening doors which reveal sculpted micro-missles. The cannons mounted on the back are able to extend and pivot downwards in battroid mode. This is the very 1st VF17 Nightmare toy to feature Super Packs, as the DX 1/65 Nightmare toys by Bandai lacked them.
