Amazing Spiderman 6 Inch Figures Released In The US

Posted on September 4, 2012 at 4:39 pm by Shin Densetsu under Marvel Toy News

Toyark boards members iLegends73 and Jaybird were able to find the newly released(in the US), Walmart exclusive Amazing Spiderman 6 Inch Figures! These figures were released in Hong Kong back in May. The 3 figures available now are:

  • Spiderman
  • Lizard
  • Ultimate Comics Spiderman
The 3 were sighted at a Walmart in Las Vegas. An Unmasked Spiderman was shown at SDCC 2012, and should follow later in the year. Happy hunting!

As for the toys themselves, they're nowhere near as impressive as the Avengers 6 inch line was, I wonder what happened?

Are you guys joking? I thought the movie put the Raimi movies to shame. It isn't perfect, but at least the characters are not as dumb as bricks.

Picked up all 3 in VA yesterday, so they've definitely hit in the East.

All 3 figures are pretty good. I ended up liking Lizard a lot more than I expected. Just have to leave his neck forward to cover that unsightly gap. Didn't realize Miles Spidey was a heavy reuse of the Tarantula body, except Miles has rocker ankles.

it had originality i'll give u that but it just lacked the fun i felt watch the toons and reading the comics plus i really hated that he just gave up his identiy to gwen so quick

Reasons why you don't tell your girlfriend you just met what you really do with your time.

Saw them today. Not really big into 6 in. scale so I passed on them but IMO the Lizard would probably be better scale for the 3.75 figures than the one made for that scale since in the movie he's like twice the size of Spidey.

I heard good things about it, but boycotted it personally hated the first 3 spiderman movies, Topher Grace as Venom was by far the worst casting choice ever!!, would of made a decent carnage but yeh... boycotted it and the new xmen movie in hopes they loose $$ and get someone better to make the movies, lol.

all he has to do is shoot some spiderweb and leave her dangling off a cliff somewhere and let gravity do the rest lol.

But I liked that Gwen was not a damsel in distress like Princess Mary Peach. She was intelligent, she knew her dad made Peter promise something, and she was willing to fight Lizard herself whereas MJ would have just stood there and been kidnapped.

Peter also actually got injured and was not healed in the next scene. I mean, in the second movie, he got his ass handed to him by Doc Ock, but oh look, you would never know because his bruises are all gone. Plus, he was a cocky smack talking sob as Spider-Man, the way Spider-Man is supposed to be. Tobey only did that in the first movie.

Like I said, it has its share of problems, but I thought it wa sbetter, and had it been the first time Spider-Man had been adapted into a movie, it would have been praised a lot more.
