These are 3.75" scale. GREAT gift pack idea for the holidays!! My nephew will totally dig it.

Apparently the nerds are stoning this pack already, but every nerd has a stone in his pocket anyway.

It's not for you nerd! It's for the kids, new collectors, and cooky completists.

    oh hell yeah.

I want me an overpriced collection of figures I wouldn't collect by the singles.

Keep it coming Hasbro...your products are speakin' for themselves lately.

this is a really cool set for someone who just wants to buy all of the key (non gimmick) figures from the line. ..

the main problem i see.. and it's one that i see quite a bit.. is that the bubble packaging warps the limbs of the figures. i mean.. look at captain america's legs.. it's a shame.

Tempted to get this set but I already have Cap and Loki. This Cap has a darker blue, but I wish there were more differences.

just pop the figure in warm water for a minute or two and it goes right back to normal.

    I'm gonna guess it'll be $70/75.

    Maybe $50/60 for black friday.

I may be tempted at $37.49, depending on whether or not I've found a Fury by then.

Will definitely pick it up for $18.74 if it makes it that long.

So this has hit the Target stores then? Can anyone confirm the price? I was waiting on getting any Avengers figures, mainly because I wanted a set of all the team members, but of course like HasBLO's Star Wars product, I've never seen all members in one place on single cards. This might be right up my alley, depending on price.

    *** EDIT ***

Also, since this is Target, if someone could produce the DPCI number for this set, I would be grateful.

There are some minor changes within some of the figures, but not sure if I can find all of them or not, correct me if I'm misunderstanding or miss something.

    - Cap: different colour tone, gun holster at leg is disappear.
    - IM Mark VII: the new "Super Articulated" mold, some different paint such the silver colour detail on armor, but lack of the paint at the flight stabilizer on his palm
    - Hulk: Look like a new colour for his pants ?
    - Thor: More colour details and darker colour tone
    - Hawkeye: The paint highlight on his armor, instead of black only, now hawkeye has crimson red / silver color paint to increase his paint details add on his black colour suit (visibly seen on his armband)
    - Loki: Some silver and gold colour on his armor looks a bit different from the single pack version
    - Nick Fury: ... since I'm not yet to be found in some place, why don't take me first ...?
    - Black Widow: Already out in single pack, but sure that some of you can't get me yet, so better luck this time ... errr ... compared to single pack I'm not sure if she has any different or not ?

Summary: The value pack is made for one who want to buy 1 box and done, except you need some Chitauri to play along as army, that will come out at wave 4 and the mission pack one with the alien flying machine thing. For collector who already has the single pack, some figure is upgrading the paint/colour to be darker tone, only Cap that has his gun holster gone for good (or bad ?).

So, I think the reason why the people with nearly complete single pack collection to look at this set, if not for the re-colouring figure, a Nick Fury or Widow ...

I would say your right on all those except Hawkeye. His single pack version has red detail as well. Its the hardest to tell with Loki and Hulk due to the lighting.

Would I get this pack? I have all the figures except Fury and I don't care about minor details like color. The only reason I would get this is if it was on clearance. Other than that would I waste $50+ on figures I already have? NO!

For the price ... totally agreed !!!

My Single Pack Hawkeye has the red detail on his body, but lack on the armband, both left and right side, which is only black, dunno if it is error or not?

But after some hand paint added, he already has the colour what he (and I) needed.

that is awesome. Can someone post the DPCI number? Sometimes Target will leave toys in the backroom for over a week so the DPCI number will help me find out if it is in.

I don't think a second figure you don't have will make it worth it, but if it is the super atriculated mark vii that also is not out yet.

This would have been a great opportunity to add Agent Coulson. Perhaps instead of Loki because he is the only enemy?

Black widow is all black without the silver accents. Cap is the newer one from Ebay recently with the ball hip joints. This came from Arker Skull who took the picture.

I think I'll wait until they release a new set of figs when the Blu Ray comes out. I'm sure they will have Nick Fury, who is the only figure I'd care to get out of this set. Actually, I'd like a Mk. VII Iron Man as well, but I have no doubt in my mind that they will release the new figs as singles sometime in the near future.

As a gift for a kid, this would be a great purchase as long as it's under $60. As a collector, I would prefer individual carded figs. Since it says Special Value, I'm expecting that this will have a price tag of $60 or less. Individually, the figs would cost $71.92. I wouldn't consider anything over $60 as a Special Value...

  25. Runamuck's Avatar Runamuck says

    08-12-2012, 08:22 AM

Yeah, "value pack". That used to mean something. But recent years has shown that it means nothing, and it's usually the same price as buying them individually. Now, if it's a holiday item, you'll probably see it on sale a lot.
