Professor X that's not bald and in a wheelchair? Pass...give me a Beast and we'll talk. He's the only character from that blasphemous film I'd even consider owning. I'll get Wolverine based on the fact that I missed the first and want something for customizing.

Robocop and Ed-209? Hell yeah I've been waiting to see these. I won't miss out like on the first go around. Now just give us Robo-cain.

I might get that 1/4th Endo if they indeed are doing a 1/4th Robocop as well. Robocop vs. Terminator anyone?!?!

Ani-com is turning out to be all that I wanted from SDCC. I can't wait untill tomorrow.

Excuse me? X-Men First Class was an amazing film.

Quit trying to nitpick it against the comic books. It's not the comics. It's a movie, in its own continuity.

Agreed. Beast looked good, even if they ruined his powers (he's not the flash, he's the ultimate gymnast). Nothing in that film set up ANY kind of long term friendship/animosity between Xavier and Magneto. They never acted like brothers, like two friends separated by extremes in ideology. Magneto couldn't care less about Xavier. It was a horrible mess.

EXCUSE ME, but he was stating his opinion. No one died and made you God, so lighten up when someone states an opinion. Ghost Rider 2 was an amazing film compared to X-Men: First Class. Not even comparing to the comics, just comparing to the past 4 X-Men movies. Everything about it was ruined potential. Relationship between Xavier and Magneto - ruined. Selection of Mutants for the first class - aside from Banshi and Beast.... CRAP. Stripperfly? really? Hula-hoop Havok? Baddies - Nazi Shaw? Red Nightcrawler? And the biggest atrocity was something easily correctable by Marvel, but they let it pass... NO reason for an F-bomb in a movie aimed at older kids and teenagers. It didn't add to the film, it wasn't needed.

Actually, other than the "Dark Phoenix" part at the end, I actually prefer X3 over First Class. The interplay between Xavier and Magneto was fantastic, as it was in the first two films, and overall, I felt it was more true to the concept of X-Men over the pretentious plot of XM:FC.

Can't call me a pissy fanboy, I haven't read an X-Men in 20 years, have only seen the movies. My ranking would be XM1, XM2, X3, XM:Wolverine, then FC

You're a mess, If you haven't read the comics in 20 years you have no pot to piss in. If you had, you'd know Angel Salvadore is the winged girl, and if it wasn;t for the STUPID X3 we wouldn't have had to make First Class to salvage the X-Franchise.
Fassbender is a far better actor than everyone in the previous films. You're just trolling and want to have the unpopular opinion. Would you also like a PBR?

Anyways back on topic, The X-Men hot toys are long overdue but look outstanding! It looks just like James MacAvoy Catwoman's pose is awkward but they all look AMAZING. They are a little to Barbie-esque for me, but damn these things are the crème de la crème.

X3 sucked. X-Men first class was solid. I think most would agree. I'd grab that Xavier figure instantly if all those figures weren't so damn expensive.

Oh I'm sorry. Does my opinion differ from yours? Wait a sec....I don't give a fuck. That's my opinion and you can deal with it. Here's my middle finger too btw. I'll wave it high for you and every other fair-weather, half-assed, easily-satisfied "comic" fan.

X-men:Never-Was-A-Class, is by far one of the most overrated, convoluted, slap in the face movies to the source material. I won't say it was worse than the first three, but it's still a WRONG depiction of just about every character they try to portray. Have the audacity to put the name X-men:First Class on a film, and then only add one true original team member? That's just one of many failures. It may be an entertaining movie to plenty of people, but it's not an X-men movie to me.

I'm not a casual X-fan that is satisfied by any old stinking turd. If you are that's fine, glad to know your sense of taste isn't that refined. I however am a long time fan of comic books, and the X-men books are probably the titles I've collected most through-out my life. All I've seen Fox do is take a pretty simple premises, very well established characters, and just mix it all up for no good reason that I can see. Fox got EVERYTHING wrong. The characters appearances, their backgrounds, and their relationships to one-another. ALLLLL WRONNGGGGG

Oh yes...because he is supporting the opinion you don't agree with he is trolling. I love your logic. Angel Salvadore sucks, even in the comics. Fassbender is indeed a great actor, but his portrayal of Magneto is way off the mark, along with the rest of the movie. Also...X3 was just the straw that broke the camel's back, and First Class didn't save anything. In reality, while it may have been successful, it just made the "continuity" even more contradictive...and didn't do the universe any long term favors. Unless of course you consider getting EVERY character wrong "saving" something.

If you actually owned a Hot Toys I doubt you'd be calling them "Barbie-esque", and even though I hate the First Class movie...they nailed the James Mcavoy's likeness. Too bad I'll be ripping this figure a part for a custom.

I'm a mess? why? Because I actually have standards? I have a film history and production background... you? LOL The worse X-Men comics I read in the 80's were EASILY better than First Class. The X-Men saturday morning cartoons were better than First Class. Fassbender was good in Inglorious Basterds, but he is no where NEAR the caliber of Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Brian Cox...

Take the scene from X-Men, with Stewart and McKellen playing chess. Now substitute that version of Prof X & Magneto with the First Class versions. FC version of Magneto wouldn't play the game to checkmate. He'd get pissy 1/3 of the way into the game and toss the board. IN THE MOVIE-UNIVERSE Xavier and Magneto shared a dream, they differed in tactics to achieve that dream. Xavier wanted to quietly integrate mutants with humanity, Magneto wants to integrate with Mutants as the superior race. First Class threw that all out the window. Magneto didn't honestly care about any of Charles' ideals. He used him for resources. The scene with the bullet at the end was completely unrealistic, because NOTHING Magneto said or did proved for a second ANY kind of real friendship, especially not like the one seen in X1, X2, and X3. The men loved each other as brothers. Magneto genuinely looked resigned and prepared for the loss when he reconfigured Cerebro in X2, and thought that Charles would die because of it. In X3, when Phoenix vaporized Xavier, Magneto was shocked and pained. You could see it on his face when he confronts Pyro about his comments.

NOTHING in that relationship was found in X-Men First Class. There was no dimensions to any of the characters. It was worse than Watchmen. They took two compelling characters, and a psychological drama that could have been fantastic, and tossed it aside for a cheap action flick.

Also, believe it or not, it DOES MATTER that I didn't have a clue who Angel Savatore is. I, like 99.9% of movie-goers, DON'T READ the comics, and remember X-Men from the older comics or cartoons. The job of the movie people is to entertain me with a bit of nostalgia, and a compelling story. Bug-Girl was neither. She was there PURELY for TNA, and even on that front, she failed miserably. Look at the best Comics movies right now... The Paramount/Marvel films and Dark Knight trilogy... they borrow heavily from classic stories. They don't try to completely re-invent the wheel. Most of the characters have personality, and you can see them existing outside of the film. XM-FC doesn't achieve that, in my opinion. XM-FC felt more like a Paul W.S. Anderson film than a Matthew Vaughn film.

How am I trolling? I'm not the one calling people a mess, and trying to control people's opinions. I merely voiced my opinion, which also validated another opinion in the thread, and YOU are the one degrading people and name-calling (a sure sign to a weak argument, and NEVER a good tactic in a debate).

To be honest this is the path I chose a couple years back. Now I only collect Masterpiece/Classic Transformers and Hot Toys for the most part. Every now and then I'll pick up a must have Marvel Legend, and the Classic Turtles will be mine for damn sure...but I have been extremely happy with collecting TFs and Hot Toys almost exclusively.

I found them due to my love of Predators and started off with Guardian Predator. Now I have 4 Preds, 6 Marvels, and Chris Reeve Superman, along with a couple others on the way. I honestly wish I had known about Hot Toys sooner. There's some older figures I'd love to have that are just too damn expensive on the after market. Thank god they are redoing Robo and ED-209. I almost pulled the trigger on a Robocop 1.0. Glad I held out for Robo and ED 2.0. With all these awesome announcements it looks like I will be committing to Hot Toys even more.

that's a great Avengers display. I'm hoping mine will look better in the end tho. I'm gonna have Loki on top of a building (probably a photo wrapped around a wood block or something) and the Avengers on the ground fighting 7 Chitauri. 2 vs Hulk and the rest taking on one, maybe Hawkeye in a nest shooting down and Thor fighting two as well (still deciding).

I'm so glad HT decided to make the Chitauri. Gonna get 5-7 on release and then add more overtime if i can. Hulk looks awesome, just needs a slightly shorter neck imo. Can't wait to finally have all these figures together late next year.
