Syco has posted a full gallery for their upcoming Mortal Kombat 18″ Sonya Blade Premium Format Mixed Media Statue.
We present to you MK’s Bombshell and one of the most enduring heroines of the series: Sonya Blade! This statue is part of our Premium Format Collection and it’s the first one to feature ‘Mixed Media’.
Sonya delivers her iconic ‘Kiss of Death’ on top of the ruins of a city she once called home. Among the debris you can spot the left-overs of her nemesis, the Black Dragon criminal leader, Kano. High-quality fabric and material helped to bring to life her popular Alternate Costume which features removable glasses and metallic dog tags.
This statue will be highly limited (approximately 250 pieces only). Pre-Orders will go live this Friday and we highly recommend that you to place your order before she sells out as no more statues will be sculpted after her limited run is completed. Whatever was wrong with the Kerri Hoskins version of Sonya? Green/white/black motorcycle racing outfit and a ponytail. Cute, sorta practical (compared to a military vest held together by a single strip of nylon)... I don't care what Kitana, Mileena, or Jade wear, they ain't human, but Sonya is supposed to be train military, not Vice Squad.
LOL Wow... I've NEVER paid that much attention before... They actually put cloth clothing on the statues? I always thought they were just hyper-detailed...
That's kinda interesting. Zero interest in buying it (Sorry Syco... make some 1/6 scale figures THEN we'll talk)...
I'm pretty sure this is the first one with cloth clothing (what they call "mixed media"). It looks insanely awesome to me.
I guess I'll ask the most important question " are those clothing removable?"
