Forum member NIBMRatchet has spotted an interesting tidbit in the latest issue of Intentmedia Toy News Magazine. Looks like the Scooby-Doo gang will be getting their own construction toy sets.
Warner Bros. has extended its long-term Scooby-Doo partnership with Character Options to include a range of brick-based construction vehicle, building and collectable figures in EMEA and North America.
Bruno Schwobthaler, SVP, sales and business development, WBCP EMEA “We’re confident Character [Options] can replicate the success of the toy range through construction lines and we very much look forward to building the Scooby-Doo brand further”.

July Issue of Intentmedia Toy News Magazine let us in on an upcoming Construction Set toy line for the popular franchise Scooby-Doo.

I'll be interested to see what they come up with, but I'm curious why WB didn't just go with Lego. They already have the DC license there, and I know some of us older collectors would like to recreate the TV movie.
