Kotobukiya Metal Gear Rex

Posted on June 26, 2012 at 6:50 am by Joe Moore under Video Game Toy News

The latest issue of Hobby Japan has some pictures of a new Metal Gear Rex. We’ve seen the 3A Metal Gear Ray. Now, Cybergundam Blog has posted a scan showing that Kotobukiya is getting into the game and will be releasing a Metal Gear Rex.

Click the thumbnail to check out the scan.

Changed thread title. The MG Rex is the only thing we would cover here.

That Metal Gear Solid Rex would own if it could hold a 1/18th scale figure.

It's probably good that it doesn't, though. I'm sure it's out of my price range and I'd just have to cry myself to sleep at nights.

Awesome this is a plamo and should be fairly affordable. Might pick it up.

Is that the same thing as the Three A version?

Yeah, when the 3AA version came out we were discussing the scale, when we saw pics of just how big it was and even then how small the pilot was even at that scale the realization of just how colossal a 1:18th (accurate) scale Rex kinda hit home.
But, on the bright side this version should be faaaaar more affordable and easier to get then the 3AA version. Even though I've never played the game I really like the Rex mecha design, just don't want to pay the prices that were being asked for the 3AA's.
