Marvel Universe XMen VS Avengers Comic Packs

Posted on June 19, 2012 at 11:24 am by Shin Densetsu under Marvel Toy News

According to CoolToyReview, 2 new Marvel Universe Comic Packs based on The X-Men VS The Avengers are coming:

Marvel Universe The Xmen VS The Avengers

  • Magneto VS Captain America
  • She Hulk VS Wolverine

We’ve uncovered two new Marvel Universe comic packs, both of which are inspired by the original Marc Silvestri drawn The X-Men Vs. The Avenger limited series. The first pack will include a kit-bashed Magneto made up from the body of the AIM Soldier, Doctor Doom’s cape, and the Adam Warlock head and a repacked Captain America. The second set will feature a redeco of the upcoming She-Hulk (in her purple Avengers costume) and a kit-bashed Wolverine which is essentially the X-Men Origins Brown Costumed Wolvie with the Wolverine Vs. Silver Samurai head and hands. These sets will be limited to 40, 000 pieces and when they hit the shelves next month, they will go for $16.99.

With the production number limit announced, these may be retailer exclusives.

Limited Comic Packs? Does that mean they're TRU exclusives again?

I actually have that comic. Magneto without his helmet would be cool.

    I'm gonna cry

I'm soooooo tired of waiting for She-Hulk, but between other collectors, and the ass-wad basement dwelling scalpers (who have never and will never know the touch of a woman), and Hasbro's questionable distribution (I think someone over there has a vendetta against Nor-Cal) my area is the Bermuda triangle of all things hasbro, I'm never gonna see these

16.99 sounds to cheap to be at tru.

I still don't like Magneto on the AIM body, it looks weird. Would rather have the lumpy Secret Wars one.

they seriously need a new captain america body and head. the movie line caps are all short and stocky and the mu caps are way too skinny with little pin heads.

Wut? LOL. The SW Magneto was pretty bad IMO. I am really curious to see how this new Mags looks though... someone stuck the Renegades Duke head on the Purple MU Magneto and it looked pretty good IMO.

The only Wal-Mart in my area that carries MU is 14.94. I'm guessing $16.99 is suggested retail price

    What Bad Moon said.

Sadly, I think I'll get these, depending on how they look. Unmasked Wolvie and Magneto sounds pretty cool. Like everyone else,I'd love to see a picture and I'm wondering if they'll actually be at retail in July.
