Walking Dead TV Series 2 Shane, Well Zombie, Bicycle Girl

Posted on June 4, 2012 at 9:02 am by Joe Moore under Horror Toy News

Some new photos have been revealed for the upcoming The Walking Dead – TV Series 2 Figures. McFarlane has revealed the first image of their upcoming Bicycle Girl Figure. MTV Geek has posted new pics of the Well Zombie and Shane Walsh.

The Walking Dead TV Series 2 includes Rick Grimes (The small-town sheriff’s deputy-turned-hero and leader of the survivors), Shane Walsh (Rick’s partner and loyal friend), Bicycle Girl Zombie (one of the most iconic zombies from Season 1), Well Zombie (A rotten, bloated zombie resting at the bottom of Hershel’s water well), and RV Zombie (stabbed in the eyeball with a screwdriver in the first episode of season 2).

Each human figure includes multiple interchangeable accessories and several points of articulation for limitless possibility and customization. Each zombie figure features unique, gory play action.

Read on for the images.

Walking dead toys are also good and very popular nowadays but I not prefer to purchase it for the children as it can be impact bad on the children or may be scared them especially for small children.

Too bad Shane looks nothing like the actor. Might still consider getting him - all depends on how it looks in person, I suppose.

I really wish Mcfarlane would stop trying to compete with NECA and stick with the nerd hummels we all know and love. The articulation on these figures is mostly pointless since they really only look good in one pose- the one Mcfarlane intended them to be in. He said this when he talked to MTV

"McFarlane: There'll be a descent amount of articulation, but the problem comes from there being two ways to make a toy. The first is the "sandwich guy" that you see with a lot of toys where you put the articulation in and you let the customer sort of get them into whatever poses they want. Then there's one, which is more what we're doing with Shane, where we put him in the "A" pose, the "dynamic pose", and then give him articulation so it's fun to move around and whatever else, but he doesn't look quite as impressive as he does when he's in the "A" pose.

So, the articulation will be there, it's just that when you move the arms around he doesn't hold the gun quite as intensely and he doesn't have sort of the same attitude with it. It's more for goofing around by moving your toy around while on the phone or in a business meeting or something than for "Hey, I'm gonna put him in this goofy pose and put him on my shelf."

What is the point really? the figures would look tons better if he would just limit the articulation. Still love the figures and will buy them, I am a sucker I guess.
