And the countdown before this pic gets pulled starts in 3... 2... 1...

Actually the only reason I'm saying this is due to the fact that the pic states... "Like getting to see Mekaneck before the general public?"

It's a club item that was sent to club members via email. When this happens with images from the G.I. Joe Collector's Club they force websites, like our Hisstank, to remove them.

Someone already posted this in the forums on the actual Matty Collector site so I guess we'll wait and see what happens.

The cat is outta the bag so it really doesn't matter at this point does it?

    No, don't get me wrong.

Being able to elongate the most vulnerable part of your body into a target as long as you are tall is an awesome power.....

Well I think is more of slowing the internet. Look at Kim kardashian she has not stop the internet only slowed it down.

Truth be told I would Rather have Ninjor and Jitsu. Never really found a robtic giraffe neck to be a tremendously cool feature. Now if that were his GROIN that might make for some intertaining dios

I always liked Extendor better, his whole body extended not just the neck. Now where is my Rio Blast and Horde Trooper 2 pack army builder??? They are doing a Snake Men builder first?? Who cares, I need Horde rust buckets!!

My biggest problem with Mekaneck is how does he breathe or eat and drink?

Think about it, do his entire insides stretch with his neck?

The Joe club is run by Fun Publishings, and yeah, they tend to keep tight control on stuff.
This is Mattel though. It's more likely they'll just stop doing these previews altogether if subscribers won't respect it.

Oh, Hasbro is JUST as talented... LOL they STILL convince people to buy 9 different painted versions of Starscream and used the same Daredevil & Psylocke bodies for 300+ Marvel Universe figures.

Same way Inspector Gadget does.... He's a cartoon character, rules of logic and reason do not apply... If you are gonna get picky about Mekaneck, why not get picky about the rest of the show... How does Skeletor survive with no face? Why is it no one recognizes Prince Adam is He-Man... you REALLY expect me to believe no one noticed that the only difference between Prince Adam and He-man are gay tights and a hair color change? Not to mention He-Man and Adam are the ONLY ones on eternia to have a talking green tiger? Or why is it, if he can create flying vehicles and all sorts of nifty gadgets, does Man-At-Arms create stupid things like the dragon walker, the Attack Track, etc which have the stupidest methods of locomotion...

Also, What if it is discovered that the "Secrets of Castle Greyskull" are the same as "Victoria's Secret"... aka... Skeletor breaks down the gate, kills the Sorceress, and all he gets is a drawer full of bras and panties...

I always liked Mekaneck as a kid, but I never used him as a front-line fighter in my battles with Skeletor (and later the Snake Men and the Horde). He was always the lookout/scout or the communications/strategy guy.

Well, to be fair only 5 of them are straight redecos of Screamer. Three of them are remolds.

It's also one of the few times fans/collectors actually demand that Hasbro put out redecos of an existing mold.

This has nothing to do with not respecting Mattel's reveal. You really think Scott Neitlich expected people to not pass along this news? Of course he knows that word is going to spread on this. The point of this reveal was so that subscribers got the news FIRST, which is exactly what happened. It's a nice little perk to being a MOTUC subscriber and something they mentioned that they would be implementing. Mattel never said anything about the subscribers not being able to pass along this information. In all honesty, they would be pretty stupid to expect that.
