these would be cool (as would the movie line in general) but the lack of articulation makes these just super hyped dollar store toys.

to maximize money they dumb down articulation and mass produce these things. yet they never sell. Come on hasblow...

I just wouldn't get these guys period. They look unfamilar to me and cheesey. The frost giants from the thor movie or hydra soliders always had a greater appeal

I don't know what the Miles Morales variant of the upcoming Ultimate Spider-Man figure has to do with Loki's Army in Avengers...

but who cares! It's proof MU will be around for awhile if Hasbro is releasing images of variants to waves that aren't even out yet.

I wanna see Secret Avengers Beast!

Also the Legends Morales Spidey is on a WalMart exclusive Avengers WalMart base, might be an exclusive, a good way to maximize the Legends Spidey mold, but that one has a different hand.

Untrue. I was thinking this would be the case until I actually gave it a read. I was very surprised that Bendis actually made this work well.

And ouch...saying you miss the clone saga definitely expressed your dislike for Miles Morales. Consider your disgust felt, I just hope its an informed statement because you've read it and were completely let down and want your money back.

I dont mind the new Ultimate Spidy, It is just different and not Peter Parker and that is hard for people to accept. I really like the new costume, the black and red work well, Miles has just not really grabbed me yet, and I have read every issue so far. I just wish they had a smaller "kid" body to use so he is not the same size as other figures in the lines.

Completely agree with smaller body mold since he's a kid. Ah well.

I thought the new Ultimate Spidey was gonna be based on the smaller Bucky mold. That's why he's missing the new articulation.

Exactly, we think that's why we don't like the figures

Me personally I like the Miles spiderman and will buy him (even though the fig ver height isnt accurate).

100% guaranty all those complaining will buy him too. Maybe not at release, but somewhere down the line. Most likely when you get that itch for your MU fix and this is the only fig left to collect.

Hasblow? What are you 12? Just name me a better manufacturer of American toys. I may not agree with all their decisions (especially the articulation reduction in their movie lines), but they still are the best American toy company.

It seems to me that the Avengers movie line is selling really well. Pegs will go from full after restocks to basically empty within a few days. I think the diverse line-up of popular characters (inherent to the brand) is helping stuff sell. I obviously would have liked the line to be more articulated and have Black Widow, Hawkeye, and an army builder out earlier in the line, but it seems to be a success so far.

i can attest to this. i now own plenty of figs that i never wanted at some point - just to plug a fix.

i am in accord with this statement 100%.

Sorry, but your 100% guarantee isn't accurate. I've read the new Ultimate Spider-Man, and don't care for the character at all. And it's not the "Not Peter" thing either. I wouldn't like the character if Peter were around and Miles was the new Scarlet Spider. The powers are inconsistent and somewhat non-spiderish (invisibility? and venom touch?), and the writing of the character just doesn't feel "Spider-man" enough for me... So I will give this an easy pass. Not on clearance, not to satisfy a craving. Just an easy pass.
