ToyArk.com is proud to present our eighth Marvel Legends figure “Thor”, in an on-going photo review series of the Wave 1 Marvel Legends 2012 Terrax Series action figures.
Thor’s father Odin decided his son needed to be taught humility and consequently placed Thor (without memories of godhood) into the body and memories of an existing, partially disabled human medical student, Donald Blake. After becoming a doctor and on vacation in Norway, Blake witnessed the arrival of an alien scouting party. Blake fled into a cave after they heard him and began to pursue him. After discovering Thor’s disguised Hammer Mjolnir, and striking it against a rock, he transformed into the Thunder God, “Thor”. The mighty lord of lightning fears neither man nor beast.

Marvel Legends 2012 Thor Terrax Series
Not a bad figure, definitely has shelf presence and is a much better figure than Hasbro's previous Armored Thor(forgot the name but it's from their 2nd wave of initial Marvel Legends from years back, and repainted for Walmart last Fall). This repaint of the SDCC Thor has much better range of motion than (Lord Of Asgard?) Thor. I dig how Hasbro made a figure of the recent costume too.
They ought to make a new mold based on the Classic as well, it's been years since the Toy Biz versions were released.
I think it was Solidsnakeinmypants review who mentioned that the legs on this figure should of been on the SDCC version and vise versa, as the coloring makes more sence, but aside from that observation, pretty solid figure, and the only 1 in the wave not to have a baf piece, so he's more of an optional figure.
its a cool figure I have the first release of the marvel universe 3.75 figure of this design and its my favorite comic thor I own.
He's a little too big but is absolutely awesome!
How would this look next to the Walmart bearded Thor?
I just got saw this figure for the first time in store last week and just had to have him. I like that the figure is larger than the others. I wish I had seen Summer Hope....or whatever her name is.
Saw him at Walmart over the weekend and damn if that boy hasn't been eating his Wheaties! Of course, put me in the camp with people who are fine with his size. He's an Asgardian, so it's not like he's supposed to be the same size as the average human anyway.
