I thought they said they were done with 2002 styling? Is this kind of a "last breath" deal?

It's supposed to stink like Patchouli Oil AKA hippy cologne which smells kind of like potting soil after you pour water on it.

They said that. Then BG Evil Lynne came out and Fisto has has everything you need for him, The Snake Man Man-At-Arms is 200X style. Slap on a custom pony tail Duncan head from TIN on the .ORG and your all set. I too am frustraited by hearing one thing but seeing the other. It's like when the GI Joe Clum said no more O-ring figs. They make a modern era con set then nexy year go back to the O-ring then back at modern era. Makes no sence. I do want to track down a second fisto so I can display bolth his looks.

    D'oh!

    *zips mouth shut*
    *locks mouth with invisible key*
    *throws away invisible key*
*adds Beetlejuice-style mouth plate, just in case*

I think what he has on in the package is the Vintage armor, but I'm not sure. Supposedly there are extra pieces in there to convert it to the 200X version.

Ok, well at least I wasn't mis-remembering things. It does make me wonder why they even bother making definitive statements like that. They should say "We have no plans to do any more 200X figures at this time" rather than "No more 200X".

Now I feel bad for fans of both the Vintage and 200X lines. I can't imagine buying multiples of a figure just so you could display the alternate versions of it.

    ...wait.

Yeah, that definitely looks like vintage armor. They'll likely reuse that on Mechaneck if they ever get around to him. Regarding 200x, yeah, tons of 200x stuff. Chief Carnivus, Keldor, Zodak, Snake Man-At-Arms, Fisto's alts, Whiplash's alt head, BG Evil Lyn's alt head, Chronos, Faceless One, Count Marzo, Tri Klop's Seekers. There's more 200x stuff than New Adventures of He-man stuff as thus far, we only have Icarius and Optikk and soon Slushhead.
