The long awaited Metal Gear Rex from ThreeA is finally almost here. Preorders were supposed to have begun in January as stated in a November newsletter, but we are now in February with still no preorders available.
This week’s ThreeA member newsletter, 3AVOX, makes mention of this highly coveted item and drops a hint on the price:
We have not forgotten about MGS REX, soon as we get the green light from Konami we shall pin down a date, the price will be around $490usd.
Many were speculating the price of Rex to be around the $500 range so it seems as though the general fandom was spot on with that. Keep in mind that isn’t the finalized price, but at least it is good to see an estimate from the source on par with what we all are expecting/hoping for. It seems like the delay at this point is waiting on word from Konami though, so stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
