For most Star Wars geeks, Tie Fighters and X-Wing Fighters are cool enough on their own. The AMP’D series of toys, however, gives kids a way to take a Darth Vader Tie Fighter and use additional parts and convert it into whatever vehicle their imagination can conceive.

not really my bag but impressive and intersting.
Pretty cool idea, blend of blocks and action figure vehicles. Not for me, but if I was a kid I think I woulda dug this.
Looking forward to seeing it this weekend.
That's kind of awesome. I assume they aren't big enough for figures though.
That's...pretty awesome, actually. Might have to check this line out.
Not really for me, but it is a creative idea. I'll give them that.
I'll echo Mega and others by saying I think it's a neat idea, but not for me. Maybe if they do an AT-AT....
That's pretty sweet.
I wish they could have made some joe scale single seaters for it though. That would have made this all the more awesome. Especially if they start expanding the line later to include other properties like battleship, Marvel, GI Joe, Star trek, you name it.
Create your own vehicles with interchangeable 'cockpits' would rock.
Not interested if it can't seat figures though, but still probably cool for kids.
This reminds me a LOT of a very old Takara or Tomy diecast X-Wing made in Japan, that could transform.
Wonder how big this is. Has potential.
It can be a sort of TIE Crawler.
That is all sorts of awesome.
Might buy if it can fit figures.
i think of starwars meets construx when i look at this better version of lego starwars

i enjoyed this toy better than erector set
that right there was exactly what i was thinking! this is a lot like old toys such as Robolinks and other modular building toys (there are a couple more I've got in mind but honestly can't think of the names of) that i was so jealous of as a kid. i had legos,of course, but i came a decade too late to get in on stuff like that.
