Thanks to viperkingdom we now have new images of the following(via his ebay auctions):
Both of these figures are from upcoming DCUC 2 Packs exclusive to Toys R Us. Hal will be packed with Blue Lantern Kyle Rayner while Batman will be packed with a red repaint of Azrael Batman(from Batman Knightsend). Check out the new images after the jump.
DCUC Sinestro Corps Hal Jordan And Battle Damaged Batman

DCUC Sinestro Corps Hal Jordan
That Battle Damaged Bats has some extremely limited "damage." I wasn't expecting a broken spine or anything, but... no, I admit it, I was expecting a broken spine.
I want Yellow Hal (as Bizarro Yellow Lantern), but there isn't really anything memorable about this fig.
I'm really looking forward to All-Stars Red Robin & Superboy Prime, however.
Sorry Mattel, but one poorly drawn tear across the chest is NOT "battle damage".
Might have to grab Hal, depending on what Blue Lantern Kyle looks like.
that might be the worst battle damage deco I've ever seen.
wow.....great repaints mattell is truely genious....(total sarcasm) what damage is on the hal jordan and that batman is pathetic one little painted on cut come on..
And (Directed at no one in particular) I also believe that "Battle Damaged Batman" is Shin's discription of the toy, not Mattel's.
I'll be trying to pick up this set for the Azrael figure, but I have plenty of Batman figures and really don't need another.
Ah, and I just realized he had a couple of cheap Harley Quinn figures too. I picked one up, I'm sure this is the last time I'll find one I can afford. God only knows how overpriced that Mad Love set is, so hopefully this Harley figure will actually show up. No accessories, but that won't stop me from making her bad ass. I'll just find a couple guns or some other crazy accessory and she'll look pretty damn cool.
I work at a Toys R Us so depending on the price if its reasonable ill buy it. I only want the Azrael anyway
U call that damage? where's the black eye, bloody nose and lip, torn cape, ripped costume, bullet holes, etc, they could of even used replaceable damaged hands or headsculpt to allow you to decide the level of damage,
Either way, whoever is right or wrong, people are making a much bigger deal over a non-issue than it deserves.
(That's not to say I think the decal is good. I don't)
I'm sensing a trend amongst the Sinestro Corps toys... and I don't know off hand how this translates from the comics, if it's keeping with accuracy or not.
But Sinestro wears his ring on the left hand, to be polar opposite from the GLC. And all the "true" Sinestro Corps follow in suit. However, the unofficial or temporary members (At least in toy form) like Cyborg Superman, Batman, Scarecrow, and now Jordan wear their rings on the right hand.
Maybe it's just my mild OCD, but that it starting to bother me.
The female figs look great though- that Stargirl rocks!
The Atom is laughable though- he's only supposed to be 5' tall, not "same body as Batman"!
I think the DCUC action figure here is intended to depict Hal when he briefly wielded a Qwardian yellow Sinestro Corps ring.
It may seem like semantics, I totally agree, but I am sure many people hold steady to the distinction.
For what it's worth, I intend to buy this fig to use as the original Yellow Lantern rather than Hal Jordan which is who I presume he is supposed to represent. Whatever differences may exist aren't enough to get my undies in a bundle.

As the picture attached illustrates, DC themselves make no distinction between the two. When it comes to merchandise, the term "Sinestro Corps" and "Yellow Lantern" get thrown around interchangeably.
One would be the toy's name, one would not be.
That was more to the root of my comment. I was holding it as an example that the Batman may not be called "Battle Damaged" on an official level, and may just be the terminology used by Tony in that article (And by Shin in extention here.) As Mattel's cards at the NYCC display do not name the figures at all.
