‘HALO’ ANNIVERSARY 2 PHOTOS REPORT FOR DUTY
Latest Figures from the ‘Halo’ Universe Are Ready For Inspection
When the Halo series of video games recently celebrated its tenth anniversary, McFarlane Toys knew it was the perfect time to introduce a new series of action figures based on the classic Halo games that came before Halo: Reach. Our first commemorative series, Halo: Anniversary Series 1, debuted last October. But with so many great games to cover, one series wasn’t nearly enough. So the celebration continues this March with Halo: Anniversary Series 2!
Anniversary 2 brings an all-new version of Master Chief, fan-favorite Captain Keyes, a classic multiplayer Spartan from Halo 2, a new ODST to fill out your squad, and the long-awaited figure debut of the Forerunner constructs Guilty 343 Spark and a Sentinel. Plus, like the first Anniversary series, this series also includes a unique build-a-“figure” item. Collect all five figures, and assemble the included pieces to create a 3D version of the UNSC logo! Still not enough? In addition to the five individual figures, Anniversary 2 also offers an all-new 3-pack: the heroic “Red Team” Spartans from Halo Wars.
But you’re not here for a recap of the lineup, right? You’re here for the photos! So lock and load as we take a look at what Halo: Anniversary Series 2 is bringing to the battle field:

Halo: Anniversary Series 2 hits all the major retailers, toy stores, and more in March. While you’re out, be sure to look for the Generator Defense set from Halo: Reach Series 6, which lands on shelves at the same time.
And in case you missed the announcement, Halo: Universe, will be continuing later this year! This August, we’re releasing Halo 4 Series 1 to cover figures from the newest Halo game, and in October, Halo Anniversary becomes Halo Universe to cover figures from all the other Halo games. Look for Halo 4, Halo Universe, Halo Micro Ops, and Halo Avatars, all coming this fall from McFarlane Toys! ‘
Halo Anniversary Series 2 Images and Info
The sculpting on Keyes is definitely better than I was expecting it to be. If anything, I would say that they've made him look a bit too young.
"The Package" Chief looks really good. Though I'm not sure if I'll get him or not. I'll wait to see him in-person first.
Mickey is pretty cool looking. I've got Dutch, so another ODST couldn't hurt. Though he's definitely not a priority, so I might pass on him.
The H2 Mk.VI is nice, but an easy pass for me. I've got a friend that I know will want to get him, as he'll be a nice Wyoming for his display of RvB characters.
The Red team three-pack isn't bad, but another easy pass for me. I do appreciate that they've downsized the packaging. This would be a great set for anybody looking to build an army of Spartans.
The 343 Guilty Spark and Sentinel two-pack is really the only must-have from this wave, imho. The Sentinel is much larger than I thought it would be, and GS looks like he's decently sized too. Should be interesting to see what all can move on the Sentinel.
I'm really not all that interested in the UNSC logo. It's definitely not a priority like the difficulty plaque was. Still, I'll have one wing piece from the two-pack, and I doubt my friend will be interested in keeping his wing piece from the Mk.VI, so there's a second piece I could have. Chief and Mickey are tempting purchases, but with TF Prime and Thundercats stuff already on my to-get list.... I also imagine that some will want to buy certain figures, but not want to finish the logo, so I might be able to buy the other pieces online.
I'm looking forward to seeing these at retail, and to seeing what McFarlane has planned for the future of this line and the Halo 4 line.
Only problem I have is with Captain K's neanderthal shoulders.
