Dude, I work for a cable company, I see enough tv as it is, I'm also in Canada and a good chance the program you're refering to is aired on a satelite station or american channel, which means we probably don't get it. It seems like a yo gabba gabba type thing, a kid show concieved by writers on acid and weed, who secretely create it for the parents who are on acid and weed to enjoy while their snot nosed punk of a kid sits there and goes on and on haha. Honestly dude, sometimes I hate tv, It's kinda nice to just come home and turn on some music and relax, read a book or a play a game. There's a few shows I try to follow religously but the rest I'm either way late getting into it to bother watching or could give a fuck less about.

Hmmmm... Interesting generalizations. Well, I do not do drugs or have a snot nosed kid and I do enjoy the show. I have only seen very few of the episodes since I have only a few shows I follow religiously but the pilot that came out in '08 really stuck in my mind because it was fast paced, full of unusual concepts/phrases and being just generally fun. Yes, it does look drug induced especially with those boneless, noodle- like limb movements but those people that I have known who do get stoned rarely have the attention span to draw 24 frames a second let alone make a series. Adventure time airs on Nickelodeon and I think Teletoon in Canada, the episodes are about 11 minutes running time with a half hour show consisting of 2 episodes and while the artwork is more up to date since the series began in '10 the pilot is still my favorite. If you get a chance to, check it out... Adventure Time The Pilot - YouTube

I did watch the pilot it was awesome, we do get Nickelolodeon channel and teletoon in Canada, but not paying extra for the theme packs at the moment haha. I think the toys are pretty cool, and kinda a vinly collector toy feel to them, may have to start watching more of this, oh and ps after watching this I remembered an old show I used to watch, 2 actually, salad fingers, and 12 oz mouse 12 ounce mouse hired - YouTube

Can't say I'm a fan of the show, but I also really haven't watched a full episode yet either. From what I have seen, it doesn't seem like something I'd be into anyway. My daughter apparently doesn't like it either.

So yeah, the toys hold no interest with me beyond who was making them.

P.S. behindthemask, your avi is really disturbing, yet oddly appealing.

Adventure Time may be a "kiddie" show, but it definitely has adult tones/humor spread throughout. It also has this amazing sense of wonder that reminds me of the crazy stories I'd make up back when I was 8 on the playground. It's a gem of a show and worth watching, for sure, regardless of age. My wife and I crack up every week watching this. Hell, the episodes are only 12 minutes long, so it's not like it is a huge investment of your time.

    And it has Peppermint Butler!

As far as the toys go, I picked up 3 of the 4 "Collector Packs," which are really just non-poseable gashapon-type figures in sets of two for $7.99. Kind of a rip-off, really, considering the paint quality was garbage on all of the ones in the store. I even passed on the 4th set of Battle Jake and Lumpy Space Princess, since the paint was so bad that I just couldn't pull the trigger.

Out of the ones I do have, I love my Ice King the most. He's probably my favorite character on the show, so there's that.

    Crappy iPhone pics, ahoy!

They got some of my money. lol
I picked up the Jake/Lumpy Space Princess Figurines and the Finn/Ice King figurines. got them on my desk at work. I would prefer the more actionfigury taller figures but those were sold out. but now every time at work is ADVENTURE TIME!

My TRU only has the sword and the little figurines, the same that crasis posted pics of. I want to get the bigger ones. And the show is so awesome. I try to watch it whenever I can. Adventure Time, Gumball and Regular Show are all awesome.
