Kotobukiya’s Facebook Page has added some new photos of their upcoming Bishoujo X-23 statue.
A Kotobukiya Japanese import! The popular Marvel Bishoujo collection (combining iconic superheroines and villains with traditional Japanese stylings) continues to bring you the amazing beauties of the Marvel Comics universe as you’ve never seen them before. The line returns to heroic mutants with the beautiful and lethal X-23! Appearing first in the television series X-Men: Evolution in 2003, X-23 was later introduced to the Marvel Comics universe. She is no less than a female clone of Wolverine, created to be a deadly weapon and outfitted with adamantium-coated claws in her hands and feet! After discovering her true identity and joining the good guys, Laura became a key member of X-Force before setting out on her own. X-23 appears here in the Japanese Bishoujo (pretty girl) style based on an original character reinterpretation by renowned illustrator Shunya Yamashita.
Tempering her deadliness with a smile on her face and a relaxed pose, X-23 is still ready for anything. She crouches on one knee, ever alert for danger with her weapons extended; her wicked adamantium claws are quite eye-catching on both hands and her right foot. Outside of combat, Laura wears a striking outfit consisting of a halter top, stylish ripped arm coverings, pants, and boots, all in black. Highly detailed sculpting brings out the intricacies of X-23’s banded and laced boots, her unique linked-ring belt, and medallion necklace. Contrasting with her ebony clothing is the mutant’s beautiful skin, and bright green and gold accents adorn her belt, necklace, and eyes. X-23’s wind-blown hair adds subtle movement to the scene, all of which brings focus to her beautiful Bishoujo styled face.
X-23 is 6 inches tall (in the Marvel Bishoujo 1/7th scale) crouched on her exclusive terrain base. Hunt down this beautiful mutant before she hunts you!
Available March 2012.

New Photos Kotobukiya Bishoujo X-23 Statue
I freakin LOVE these statues, BUT my income says I'll stick to the $7.99 3.75"s
And let it be known that it was this statue that made me cancel my Hot Toys Captain America and decide to collect these instead starting with Laura.
Laura's one of favorite Marvel characters (screw any haters
) and these statues seem pretty affordable. Though 6 inches is a wee bit iffy. Are they all 6 inches??
I've always made it a point to strictly avoid statues, since I always thought they're were just pretty useless considering the extraordinary pricing on these things - all you do is display'em right?
I'm not jumping for joy here over her face (wish it were more serious). But I might be looking at my first ever statue.
Can't wait for MU X-23 though, and hopefully a faithful ML X-23 in the near future (X-Force outfit with interchangeable heads or something) - ah, I'm dreaming again darn it.

My friend has quite a bit of these amassed already and they look very nice. This will most likely be my first of this line or at least the one that made officially want to collect these.
First statue of her I may actually buy. I'm not a big fan of the others except for her X-Force statue.
I have almost all her statues except for the bust that she has out. And yes they've cost me a pretty penny but worth it in the long run!! I do have the Psylocke, Emma Frost and Ms. Marvel in that series and ordering Mystique and Elektra.
