Man, I have to honestly say, I am a little underwhelmed with Mattel's GB showing. Don't get me wrong, Vigo is incredibly badass. But I have to say, I'm not at all crazy about that Dana. Why did they make her in that pose? I would have much preferred an actual figure. The retro Samhain in great. Absolutely love him.
I can't believe they didn't take advantage and use their Stay Puft's packaging to make a display.

With all the MOTUC, DC and Voltron stuff, I guess one line was bound to suffer. Shame it's the GB line.

True. And yeah, shame. I really like the line.

I dunno what everyone is talking about in terms of the GB line "suffering" this year. We're finally getting some slick accessories and hey, Vigo! For SOME reason there isn't a photo of the figure alone but in the shot showing the retooled Ecto Goggles and Ghost Trap with the orange lighting effect you can see Vigo's arm and leg. That is awesome to me.

They look alright, but who are they meant to appeal to? As an adult I remember the movies and shows but they don't look like adult collectorbles, but I can't see kids caring for them :S

I don't think it's so bad. The Taxi ghost, Dana Zuul, and Vigo. I'd like to see a picture of Vigo, but that's a pretty good character to include, so I'm assuming I'll like it. I don't care about the rookie, but I think he's the fig that comes with the taxi ghost. If there's only six figs this year, I like half of them. I really wish they'd make some Terror Dogs though. I wouldn't be surprised to see them as a SDCC 2012 exclusive.

I just watched footage of the Mattel panel and they mention that Dana will come with an extra set of legs that will allow you to have her standing.

Btw, I agree... where's the Stay Puft diorama! I was hoping to live vicariously through their display until mine arrives later this week.
