The final round of the 2009 Marvel Q&A is now complete, however if you would like to submit a question for the 2010 Marvel Q&A you can start posting them in this thread now. Dates TBA.

Are the new Spider-Man Classics and Iron Man 2 1:18 lines considered sisters line to the MU? Will these new lines mean fewer appearances of Spidey or Shellhead in upcoming waves of MU? Will figures released in those lines affect possibilities of getting better articulated MU versions of characters like Venom (Brock or Gargan) or Doctor Octopus?

As someone who wants to keep their collections ratio of good guy sot bad guys at 1:1, I'm curious, are there plans to include more villains in the Marvel Universe 3.75" action figure line?

Is there a chance that characters that have been released in the 3.75" scale in the recent Wolverine line will also be released in the Marvel Universe line? For example, Deadpool.

We've seen early 90's, classic costumes on the recent Jean Gray and Wolverine figures. Will more 90's X-Men costumes make an appearance in the Marvel Universe line?

Do you have the rights to make the Sentinel from Marvel VS Capcom 2? It's one of my favorite incarnations of the Sentinel.

Is it possible to stop using those clear plastic bands to secure the figures in package? A lot of my figures are deformed because of those bands.

Does Hasbro currently have access to all the Toybiz molds? As in, could we see the Marvel Legends Bafs rereleased for the Marvel Universe line, or is the plan basically to keep on with the Icon repaints?

When can customers expect to see name plate stands for the entire 2009 season of MU figures? (SHIELD Series)

Will the New York Comic Con have any special figures like we saw at the SDCC?

Can we expect to see any group packs/team packs in the near future? If so feel free to clue us in.

    1. After the huge success it seems that MU has been, and stays being, are there any new plans for a promotion figure similiar to nick fury was for the digital distribution? Will he be renewed or extended?

    2. Just out of curiousity, out of the entire marvel universe, what cosmic characters are the team's favorites?

    3. Can we expect any female figures in the Ironman Movie line? Pepper Potts, Rescue, or madame masque and who knows what other women in Tony's life?

    1. Are we going to see more of the characters that became more popular in the 90's like Thanos, Adam Warlock and such?

    2. The 90's also brought us lots of silly armor suits for Iron Man ie Samurai and others, is there a possibility that we could see some of these in the new Iron Man line?

Will the release of the "Thor" movie be accompanied by a Thor toy line similar to the X-Men Origins: Wolverine line? If so, will it feature a comic series as well?

Legends-size Iron Man 2 (i.e. approximately six inches, in keeping with toys from first Iron Man movie) - possible? Probable? I would think that Iron Man 2 6" figures would sell like hotcakes - they did for the first movie, no? And since we're already expecting a two-pack with Black Widow, maybe her counterpart could be Whiplash or War Machine or...?

Since the Punisher mold is being retired, will the Daredevil body be retired too? It's been used on some great figures, but it's already surpassed by better "buck" molds in the line.

Since New Captain America uses the Daredevil body, and is an exclusive, will there be a mass market, New Captain America that uses a new, or more proportionate body? He cant even hold anything in his left hand, yet comes with 2 weapons.

Will the Icons Wolverine mold be sized down for use as a current costume, Marvel Legends Wolverine figure?

Some fluff questions, but in the wake of the awe that was toyfair. Why not?

    1. Is the team happier now with the results they are getting? What are their faves that turned out the best to them on final result.

    2. Are all the marvel movies going to have this dual line release with comic series figures(if the movie is audience appropriate)? Don't think we haven't noticed you skipped R movies. Or was that a judgement call on how bad the movie was in general?
Might actually make me excited now for these movies to get made though if they fit the restrictions. xD

Since MU Nick Fury is getting $70-$90 on eBay will he appear again soon in another format, e.g. single-carded or in a two-pack? It appears we're getting a Sam Jackson figure in IM2, so I'd rather see classic Nick again than an Ultimate MU version. Do the exclusive-released figures (like Nick was with Marvel) come with clauses that prevent Hasbro from releasing him again?

1.) You've mentioned previously that figure stands would be done for the Fury Files series of Marvel Universe. When can we expect these to become available? Also, will they be individualized or will it be a generic stand for all figures? If it will be a generic stand, will they be sold in multi-packs, single packs or both?

2.) Were there any official variants made of the MU Daredevil made? If so, why haven't we seen them in general release like other variants?

Hello Arkers (Fun to say) it's Johnny,

I know somewhere here there is a thread for the new Q&A but I was purusing the internet and stumbled across an article on CoolToyReview.com concerning this year's Q&A with Hasbro.

(I appologize to and thank CTR.com for this article) (It's very helpful)

"Hasbro's 2010 Marvel Q&A will include eight (8) rounds, beginning this Friday, March 5

Participating outlets will submit three (3) questions for Hasbro's consideration

Please do not include phrases like "Dear Hasbro" or "From USER NAME" or any likeness of this.

Topics open for discussion - Deco Decisions, Design Choices, Design Process/Development and Redeco/Retooling. Also, questions pertaining to past and current Line Strategy and Marketing.

Topics that cannot be addressed - "When will X toy be made/redesigned/released?", Hypothetical, Sales/Cost Data, Product Idea Submissions, Potential Design/Redesign and Future Movie/Entertainment."

Great guidelines to reshape and focus the discussion between the fans and the company. (I think)

SOOOO POST SOME QUESTIONS~! LET'S DISCUSS!!!

    My first question would be,

The female body in the Marvel Universe is in dire need of retooling. Why were the choices made to limit her arm articulation? My Black Widow cannot even hold her rifle with 2 arms!

    Heres my main question:

    1. Back in the 12/17/09 "actionfigurepics.com" Hasbro Marvel Q&A located here: http://www.actionfigurepics.com/2009...-roundup-12179, when asked about the possibility of an online release program for Marvel Legends figures, Hasbro said this: "We are always looking at ways and options to get the Legends figures into the hands of fans. Plans are being made and we will announce them soon." Now that nearly 4 months have passed, could Hasbro update the marvel legends community on the status of these plans and announcement?

    And a couple more:

    2. Will hasbro be releasing any as of yet unannounced Marvel Legends figures in 2010 other than the next wave of Two-packs and upcoming 6-inch Iron Man 2 exclusives?

    3. Can hasbro give us an update on the 6-inch Crimson Dynamo & Titanium Man figures that were seen at SDCC a while back? Will they be released?

I think an important question to ask is:

At the end of the last Q and A for 2009, there was mention of stands being released for MU SHIELD series figures. Is there any new development on this?

I don't know if it qualifies. I have seen this question posted on another forum and I thought it was answered. BUT I really want to have some stands. How about rephrasing it, like. "Will the Marvel Stands be released with name stickers?"

It's a double question. It answers the exsistance and also answers the name tags. HOPEFULLY these will be cheap like the Star Wars ones too!

Another question we could use, not exactly the most important.....

What body style does the Punisher/Black Panthar Two packs use?

Just thought of another one, seemingly better then the one above

At Toyfair2010 we caught a glimpse of Thanos which appears to be bigger then the standard MU 3.75 scale but not as big as the GB scale ~12 inches. Can you elaborate more on how big Thanos may be?

    I know,

Were the Walmart Gigantic Battles considered sucsess? or...

Is Galactus the only Gigantic Battles character this year? or...

Can we assume the Gigantic Battles are on hold for Galactus?...

    Something to that vein...
