Iron Man Concept Hammer Drone

Posted on March 31, 2011 at 7:02 pm by Shin Densetsu under Marvel Toy News

The gum_5 blog has uploaded new images of the Concept Hammer Drone from the Iron Man Armored Avenger line. This is the latest Hammer Drone figure, and quite possibly the most anticipated. Why? It gives fans options. Whether you wanted another Hammer Drone to add to your army, or a stand-in for Whiplash in his armored suit, this figure can be used as an army builder or stand alone drone.

Check out the latest images of the Concept Hammer Drone after the jump!

agreed. Im SO glad I decided not to buy that movie line..no " AWWWWW ! " factor when I glanced at them..I really like the Marvel Select Thor in Disney stores right now. Nice comparison lineup

wow that is a nice repaint of the figure lol.. lose the cyborg head and you got a nice looking thor!

agreed, the thor movie figures a horrible! out of scale also.. i dont kno wat is with Hasbro and their movie figures.. they make them all smaller than the other lines.. why?! that just ultimately kills it for me.

I just picked up a 3.75 inch snake eyes figure for $2.50 at bbts the other day thinking wat a steal! .. i got it.. realized it was like 3 inches tall and pathetic!

i feel like all hasbro movie figures are just like that.. and if GI joe and thor were small like that.. i fear for captain america

Fear not for they will be great, only thing i see wrong with them is the lack of bicep articulation.

lmao I just realized that the Secret Wars Thor looks exactly like Randy Couture with a wig.

To be honest I think classic thor deserves a redo. Needs thigh swivels and hip joints that aren't a pita to move. My comic pack one was hard as hell to move at the hips.

I think it's some rule in the toy business that movie toys have to look bad.

I was at walmart like 2weeks- a month ago, and saw all them there thor, loki, odin, some frost giants, the 8'' thor figure etc.. I felt half compelled to buy them but didn't really scream buy me. The frost giants were kinda cool actually, loki looks like crap I prefer the comic styled 10x more, same with thor, I will probably grab a thor at some point just to say I got 1, may odin to make a hannible figure haha.. I want a destroyer figure though and I want the cap figure more or less because even if I don't want every cap figure there's enough supporting figures worth getting.

    Seriously true believer!
He was a robotic clone of Thor used by Reed Richards and Tony Stark during the civil war story. He went beserk and killed Goliath and was decommisioned...I'm not sure if it's the same character as Ragnarok.
Either way, I do like the classic Thor look and this is a neat tweak on that. It's nothing compared to the modern figure though.
And the good news about the Thor movie line, give it 6 months and you'll be able to buy the entire line for a very small price!

Yes, he later called himself Ragnarok and was destroyed by Thor.

Yup Thor rightly made pieces of him, Mind you he kicked tonys ass too for creating him, Never thought we'd ever see a figure of him and its looks the business

While I have alot of other figures{even Thor related} I'd like to see before Ragnarok, it's still a cool set and really surprising that we are getting him.
